Reviews
Write a Reviewthe deck is composite and then also had a paver patio installed; looks great;i adjusted the size twice on the patio; and they adjusted very easily to my changes. wish they would have contacted me a little more frequently throughout the process and the end result is very nice
Very accommodating. I had a paver patio installed. They worked with me so that I could get exactly what I wanted within the budget I had set for the project. The end result is absolutely beautiful.
I was told on a written agreement it would be 1-2wks till they started & it was a month & then they sent out a guy who I thought omg am I going to have to keep an eye on things my belongings I mean so he showed up & didnÂ’t do anything & said he would return the next day but something happened & I was told another guy would be doing the work was skeptical at first but he did a good job I liked him & his work is great am happy with his work just wish they would a started when they told me & I know they overcharged me after all I supplied all the materials but it is what it is I guess live & learn lol. Just glad my fence finally got put up
It was raining half the time and we called him to tell him we were 2 weeks behind. The first installer came out and hurt himself from a back injury. We told him we would send out another, who did a great job.
Revive Remodeling did an excellent job on the installation of our wooden fence and handrail on our front porch. We would hire them again.
Each subcontractor on this project responded quickly and professionally to complete their portion of the construction. The delays experienced were at the hands of the manager, not the subcontractors. His communication skills and time management skills leave much to be desired. He guaranteed completion by 8/31/2017 or a 20% refund would be given. Today, 9/21/2017, as the final inspection was completed, the manager tried to back out on the refund and became angry when I held him to his word. Because of the mess he left of my yard, I had to employ a landscaping company to correct the grade, seed and straw most of my backyard. I would recommend any of the subcontractors, but not Revive Remodeling.
The job went great! Except, the customer made over 10 changes that we had to keep getting NEW city plans revised, I told her that with these changes we can't finish in the time frame she requested. After doing a great job she still refused to pay us the last 20% because we put that in writing. I should have made her sign change orders and agree to pay us the additional 20%, trusted the customer and lost $4,250.00 dollars. We have change orders now on every change no matter how many.
We are currently have way through our basement finishing. Right now we have it all framed and the electricians are coming today. Next will be the installation and drywall. We've been informed of each step along the way. Dan communicates through text, which I like because he usually texts updates while I'm work. He's easy to get a hold of and will do what he can to help. I definitely recommend the company!!
Good work
I have never seen such amateur work. The deck is structurally sound (I think) Outside of that I am extremely disappointed with their work. They used a free hand saw to cut boards, so many of them are irregular and their miter cuts were bad. They installed the wood label side up so I have to spend days sanding off the black print on the top of my deck. They overdrove each and every nail at least 1/8th of an inch so I have hundreds of divots in my porch. They left much scrap on site when they left and it took several days for them to haul the scraps they did pick up out of my yard. Other than that they did a great job.
We hired revive remodeling to install bathroom vanities we purchased as well as install new flooring and light fixtures in two of our bathrooms. The quality of the work was absolutely awful. They installed laminate flooring that already needs to be replaced (it's only been 6 months). It's a daily reminder when I see the holes/cracks they left in the flooring. I pointed it out to them the day they did it, and they agreed it was bad and agreed to fix it. They never did. They also left holes in the wall, they installed the light fixture overlapping with the mirror, causing a reflection. I asked if they could move it up a few inches, so they did, leaving the huge holes in the wall. They installed our towel rack completely crooked. It fell immediately when I tried to hang a towel as well. My husband had to re-do it, but that's what we paid a couple thousand to have them do. Additionally, they overcharged us by $1,000. They had both me and my husband pay....I was refunded but only after I brought it to their attention. I work from home and I am frequently in meetings or on video. On more than one occasion, the contractor just walked into my office with the door closed. He didn't bother to knock, just walked in asking where my plunger was because he had clogged our downstairs toilet. It was really rude, although I was so caught off guard I didn't mention it (I'll count that as my fault). I absolutely do not recommend this place and I am sad I wasted money on them as we had been saving up for this remodel, to just have a crap job done and still have holes in the wall and floor. I wish I could share pictures just so you wouldn't waste your time and money like we did.
The workmanship and quality is good. Communication and working with the HOA was very stressful.
