The project for our composite deck was a fail from the beginning to the end. The products were delivered to our house on 9/1, but we were asked the next day if it was ok to wait until the following week to start the project due to the holiday. We agreed, with the assumption the work would be completed by the end of that week. On day one, the deck was taken down and left in our front yard with nails still in the boards and exposed. After a call, the old deck was removed the next day. The deck was not completed at the end of the week, without a phone call to tell us why. We were told the next Monday that the wrong parts were delivered and would be overnighted. They were not, so the work did not resume until the end of that week and was still not completed. Trash from the project was left all around our deck and side of the house on the landscaping. It took 16 days from the start of the actual work for them to clean up any of the trash left scattered around, and that was only because we called to complain. After the "clean-up" happened, our toddler found loose screws laying at the top and bottom of the steps. There were metal shavings on the deck and around on our patio for her to find. In order to get the sawdust off the deck and out of our patio door tread, I had to clean it myself. 27 days after the materials were delivered to our house and 20 days after the work started, our deck was finally "finished." We paid a lot of money to get a composite deck that would be little to no maintenance. The steps have wood risers on the outside that are still exposed, unfinished and not even sanded to look finished. The rest of the deck looks good, but that is the material not the workmanship. The steps make the deck look terrible and incomplete. If you want someone to listen to you and your wants, do not hire Revive. They were terrible at communicating with us throughout the process, and they didn't listen to our concerns when we had them. They didn't check that everything they needed was there from the beginning, so we had two weeks of delays just to wait on rail parts. We also still have to finish the deck stairs, so it looks complete and not like an amateur remodeled the deck.
Project was completed in a timely manner. Deck looks great and I can't wait to spend lots of time on it going forward.
The install team did an excellent job of lining the fence up and making it look great. Even with the slope of our yard.
My fence looks amazing! I will definitely use them again when we install our deck.
The deck I had built was finished on time and in great shape. They had to wait for a few days due to weather but they did a great job.
Communication was delayed and marginal. Deck was complete about three weeks ago but inspection has not been scheduled. Paperwork has to be replaced/originals misplaced. Minor work yet to be done pending inspection. Some work had to be re-done. Trouble getting updates. Foundation of the deck is very solid and should last as I would expect. Post inspection, the last couple of bolts will go in and a couple of minor items adjusted. I believe I will be happy with the final product but the process has been rough in spots and has yet to be completed.
Revive is in the process of joining with the Home Improvement Visa credit card from Wells Fargo to be an approved business; this will allow me to use the full extent of my credit with Welles Fargo to pay for the fencing project. Waiting for the final approval.
Torey did a great job in actually building our 320 sq ft deck. It took 2 weeks due to very inclimate weather, but Torey hung in there and was here every time weather allowed. Great perseverance and desire to provide quality work.
We had a brick patio installed and it is just so beautiful! Those workers were awesome! They were always on time and professional. They worked so hard during the difficult weather situation. Also, each worker was so polite and respectful. We would definitely recommend them!
