Actually, changed project to start remodel in Kitchen vs basement. Talk a good game, but fall down in execution. They are definitely more concerned about money, than the customer. Countertops weren t effectively sequenced in the project, no kitchen for incremental 4 weeks beyond 8-10 week project. Paid last finishing amount with commitment to finish within week two weeks later still waiting and no communication.
When we started job customer wanted us to enlarge opening into Dining Room, we agreed and we had to put a new header in, move electric, move HVAC, move thermostat, drywall and finish that took about 2 weeks. The customer wanted us to order the countertops before we installed the cabinrts, we explained that the back wall of his is house is out of square and we have to wait to measure tops until bottom cabinets are in so we can make an accurate template. After the measure we wanted tops installed the next day, we explained they have to move the granite slab from the warehouse to the machine shop to cut the granite, polish the granite, install the sink and seal the granite that takes 4-5 days, then we can install the tops. that took a week longer than he wanted. Then we started installing customer provided back splash in a diagonal pattern, we were half done and he did not like the diagonal look or the tile he picked out, So we tore it out and waited almost a week for him to et new tile, we installed his customer provided tile, that added a week to the job Then he asked us if we would install flooring in his Dining room for free for the delays, we explained he made the delays about asking for changes. He agreed to pay us and we in stalled a new dining room floor that added another week because we had to pull up 1/2 the kitchen so we could make the dining room floor flow with the kitchen floor. Plus 1/2 way through the job he got a concussion at work and there were several days we could not work because it hurt is head. Through the entire project we kept adapting to his changes, job is done and he wants a couple items done in the kitchen like painting, custom brick on the wall next to te basement for free. extremely difficult person.
We ended up cancelling the contract and getting a different contractor to do the work. They are the worst contractor I have ever dealt with.
They wanted a basic deck, so we sold them a basic deck. Then they wanted so many extras like solar caps, lighting down the steps, benches and double the size of stairs at no additional cost. We could not do all that for free so we refunded their money back. We do over 250 jobs, have A rating at the Better Business Bureau and try to please everyone.
They made every effort to meet on time to discuss, provided easy to understand expectations. Only negative is minor, could have communicated exact date they would start project.
Easy company to work with. Very good price for the work they do
Very professional company with polite attentive workers
They delivered what was promised.
The fence looks great and they was fast. Also they was the lowest bid. They could communicate about the scheduled time a little better but other than that is was a great experience.
Revive Remodeling finished my basement (900 sq. ft). They had a bit of difficulty with sub-contractors, especially drywall. After I pointed out the drywall deficiencies to them, they made every effort to come and fix the flaws. Overall, they were on the job, treated me well, and made every effort to meet my needs. Good company to deal with.
