Reviews
Write a ReviewThey were responsive and provided excellent customer service. I would use this company again.
I was emailed a coupon for this company and I thought I'd go ahead and use them because of the reviews and I'd been putting off getting this garage door fixed since we moved into the house 6 years ago. Precision Door was pleasant, fast, reliable, and priced VERY reasonably. Called on a Thursday and asked for a Saturday appt and they put me on their schedule that same week. I had to cancel and they rescheduled me for the very next Tuesday at 4pm. The technician called me 30 minutes before and showed up promptly at 4pm. In my book they were on the top 10 list so far. Our garage door rollers were like brake pads that have no tread left on them and every time the brake is hit you can hear metal grinding against metal. The motor was shot so the door had to be opened manually and held open with a screwdriver. Eric, the tech, showed up at 4 and didn't quit working until 7pm and kept us informed on everything he was doing and why he was doing it. It should have been more than an $800 job and with the coupons and Angie's list discount on top of the already reasonable prices we came out owing $504. I wish I could give this company more than the alotted stars because they earned it. I work for a large company that uses multiple vendors for repairs and there wasn't one that I trusted enough to work on my house. I would use Precision Door (and absolutely request Eric) again and I'll probably call them for any work my company may need in the future. A++++

Overall I am satisfied by the work that Eric performed and I would not hesitate in asking for him should I ever have a garage door issue. There is no question that Eric was/is professional and knows what he is doing/talking about. Eric was completely professional even though he was dealing with an upset customer. Eric also, because of the price issue, gave me a 5yr warranty on the work. Bare in mind that I value quality over price so in this respect, I think Eric was exceptional in how he handled the situation and I wouldn't hesitate in calling this company again if needing their services. But if I need an estimate in the future I would call Eric and talk with him before I would call the company's phone person and get their estimate. Over the phone estimates given by anyone who doesn't fully understand everything involved with garage door repair is problematic - that in itself can tarnish the reputation of a otherwise fine company. Either send someone out to quote accurately or put someone on the phone who is the repair guru. It might also be advisable to let the customer know that until the tech see's the actual door/issue in question, there may be additional charges that are un-known at the time of the phone estimate. But this is an issue that Management needs to address internally.    Â

The repairmen showed up exactly on time. They were very professional and explained what had gone wrong and how it would be fixed. The work was completed in one hour. The cost was very reasonable. I highly recommend this firm.
