    I was in the process of renovating my rental property and needed to change out all the carpets in the entire house due to renter's wear and tear. I knew it would cost alot but was not looking to put out all that money upfront. My sales person Dave Dyer was very professional and was very informative. He was also very determined to help me get the right price for the job. I was approved for the financing option which was very easy and quick. We set up a date to install the carpets and when the crew came to install; they called 30 minutes out to give me the heads up and the installation took about 5 to 6 hrs. They took out all the old carpets in each room, including closets and all living spaces....whew this was a big job and I was very satisfied with the final outcome. I was a bit apprehensive going with a big company due to hidden costs but everything was flat out written out in black and white as well as zero interest financing. Thank you Empire team and Dave Dyer!

    I had such a bad experience with this company, my patience ran out. The measurer came by (nice guy) and the installer came (nice guy). The installer said it was not indicated that it was a runner for the stairs, so the carpet was not cut right. Left. I called customer svc, and they said they will correct it (nice guy again), and I got a text saying the installer was coming. Never showed up. I call customer service again. Again. Again and again. No response. Finally speak to a lady (a nice lady) who confirmed my hunch that since it was priced wrong, it was just not being done. So then why not just tell me so I can get on with my life and go through Home Depot which they originally told me their process and work were superior? I call today to confirm that it was canceled and refund processed so I can order through Home Depot. Guess what? The refund was not processed. Everyone who works there is very nice and I tried to give everyone the benefit of the doubt because we all can have bad days. But how does nothing get done correctly on every level?

    Empire told me one thing, I hired them to replace my kitchen tiles paid them and when the guy came to do the work, he tells me cannot do it because there is a dip in the floor I cant understand, why they did not tell me this before I paid them. I got my money back. but it took a while and my floor is not done.

    DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!! I was told my flooring project would be a one-day job, but it is 2 weeks after the start of this installation and I have not heard from Empire since giving them my money. The contractor they sent to install my laminate floors did an extremely sub-par job. I was told they would have to come back to complete my stairs (was having carpet replaced with laminate) but no one called to reschedule. When I called customer service 4 days later, I was told that carpet is my only option and the woman in the ATL office got an attitude when I said that carpet would not work for my lifestyle and that is not what I signed my contract for. It is now 2 weeks since the start of this installation and I cannot get ANYONE from this company to answer my calls or help me figure out what is going on. They will take your money, do an extremely poor installation (if they do one at all) and then will never get back to you. AVOID EMPIRE AT ALL COSTS.
