Outstanding Customer Service from Rueben. Empire worked with me on the discounted offer. The 75% discount only offered the lowest quality of padding which did not have a moisture protector and the choice of carpet was not a good one. We negotiated the better padding and a plush carpet that worked perfectly for the same discounted price.

We were very happy with this company and our floors. They were very professional, knowledgeable of the product and answered any questions. Plus I never felt pressured that we had to go with them. They were also able to come out quickly for a free estimate and install the floors with days. I would recommend them and hire them to install floors for other rooms in our house.

I had a cheaply done vinyl tile click-together floor put in my kitchen as a rush job when i bought my 1960s house a couple of years ago by some local random handy man types. Hated it. The tiles came apart open seams everywhere. Awful. Decided I wanted to replace it, so I selected Empire. Sales rep came out the next day with samples and was very upfront. Not the cheapest option out there, but you're getting a quality product and excellent service and installation. Initial quote to do just the kitchen was crazy high in my opinion, but after a couple of phone calls and accepting my counter offer, we came up with what I thought was a fair enough price. Scheduled the install for a few days later, even though Empire could have come out the next day if I wanted. Installer called me over an hour in advance to let me know he was on his way, and he arrived exactly on time. Quick walk through of the kitchen, talked through removal of furniture and appliances, and had me look at the flooring to make sure it was what I had selected. Install took about 5.5 hours for two men. Moved all my furniture and appliances out, pulled up the old tiles, showed me what they needed to do to prep the sub floor, laid the floor, replaced all the trim, moved furniture and appliances back, and then cleaned up and removed all debris to be hauled away. Very pleased with the end result and looks so much better than the kitchen floor I had before. Highly recommended!
