    Installers were sketchy. Even when we had someone to speak Spanish to them because they did not speak much English, the translator said they were slippery. The installers were here past 10:30PM on a weeknight, and we ended up sleeping on couches because they didn't finish and our bed was not put back together. Too many issues to write here. Damaged furniture... didn't replace pad in closets when we weren't watching... left without telling us... installers were a nightmare. Empire was washing their hands as we spend hours trying to get them to make things right, but when I filed a complaint/review with Consumer Affairs they got involved. A very nice Installation Coordinator came out but said it would take 2-3 weeks for his report. I let them know that we had time constraints on doing a credit card charge back, which will be our intention if this isn't addressed.

    They used two different contractors to complete the two jobs Ihad for them. The floor in the kitchen went smoothly no problems except for the transition piece from floor to carpet. The carpet was instal was great except the warehouse gave them the wrong size carpet. Took 6 hours for completion. Warehouse mistake, unacceptable. Conractors had to go back to warehouse to get right size.

    After the installation, the installers left smears and smudges on the floor, damaged my entertainment center, scratched a living room chair, refused to reconnect water line to refrigerator and left gas to range turned off. I have tried to get Empire to resolve these issues. They keep promising someone will call me back to schedule an inspection. I'm still waiting at this moment. Not a satisfied customer! Floors are creaking, master bath is worse. They came out,checked and said it was "normal". Will never use again!

    The representative was nice, professional, as well as understanding. We weren't financially ready for the suggested pricing for the project so we were waiting for a better Financial situation but didn't want such an expensive project being new homeowners.
