Write a ReviewGreat!
A1 electric came out and gave me the same bid that gave me and money wise they were very reasonable, but they wanted to charge me for the same job twice, so please make sure you save your receipts. When i told them i will report them to HomeAdvisor they suddenly found my check.
The service man showed up right away in a time of emergency to install an outlet. He was fast at installing it, I'm glad that this his service was available in this emergency. Thank YOU.
I should have gotten an estimate from others.
Accommodated me on a last minute job request on a Saturday!
When they were 30 minutes late for my 3pm appointment time and I called the number provided by HomeAdvisor, it was constantly busy for the first 7 tries. Google gave me a different number, which was answered. I was informed that they 'had me down' for a 4-6 window and it would be 6 before they arrived. Fast forward to 6:30 and they show up. Without required materials as specified in the request. So they leave to go to Home Depot adding another 1 hour to the start time. Pricing model pretty straightforward. Just double the material cost to DIY and add tax. A little steep, but if I had the skills to DIY I would have started there. Work was completed in about an hour (reasonable for the scope) and they cleaned up everything except the ladder they borrowed. So, if you've got time to sit around waiting 4.5 past the appointment time with no heads up, this is your group. And, HomeAdvisor, according to the electrician the unmet expectation is your fault since you 'allow' users to book a specific time when providers need 'windows'.
The serviceman showed up on time and did the work. He briefly explained the repair and was gone in under 20 minutes. Kudos!
Very good experience, but the price seemed high. $125 for a 10 minute project.
Had 3 new outlets installed. had consultation then separate install date which turned out to be a different person to install. still good work but had to go over what was needed again. All in all i would use again.
A-1 sent out an electrician for a free estimate. The electrician was on time and professional. The work was done exactly how we agreed and it looks great! My only grievance is clean up. When the electrician left, there was drywall debris on the floor. Overall, I am satisfied with the work that A-1 did.
