The gentleman was professional and polite. Â The service was completed in around 30 minutes or so. Â He answered all my questions. This same company worked on my garage door again when it quit working. They fit me in the day I called as their last call of the day. They had a busy schedule and he arrived around 7pm on a cold Feb evening (2014). Â The problem was corroded wires at the motor connection point which he clipped and reconnected -- success. Â Once again he was courteous and professional.

It went well. They came out and gave an estimate. They explained the difference between the types of doors. They came back within a week to complete the service. Just one person came out and it took about three hours. They were prompt and they showed up about five minutes before they were supposed to.

I'm impressed with this company. Scheduled appt, came as promised, completed job. Repaired all work. Garage door was better than it was when it was new! Rick was awesome! My door is so quiet now. Quoted me 3 different prices with 3 different solutions. I chose the middle range. Loved having the different options. Will use them again.

I had repaired my old garage door several times through the years after my family and I had bumped into the door when we were in a hurry, but, after 26 years, the door was falling apart. Precision Door Service responded almost immediately when part of the door literally fell apart, and it took their technician less than two hours to completely replace the door, railings and springs. I chose the new door from a list of options on May 12, and the work was completed on May 13. The new door is steel, so it will not rot as the old door was beginning to do. It was a bright white, but it took only about 30 minutes worth of painting with a roller to match the off-white trim of my house. With discounts from Angie's List plus a senior-citizens discount, the price for the double door was a flat $1,200, which seemed entirely reasonable. The door includes windows (a $200 option), so it looks very similar to the old door that it replaced.

As is our custom, we like to use American-made products and local small businesses whenever we require specific goods and services, which is why we chose Precision Garage Door of Memphis to remove and replace our worn, aging garage door.    We deliberately selected PGDM because of the overwhelmingly positive customer reviews it has received on Angie's List, with 22 "Page of Happiness" commendations and three consecutive years of Super Service Awards.   We were not disappointed with the result.  The work was performed quickly, expertly and with minimal mess and noise. Our technician, Brandon Barcafer, was quite congenial, remarkably punctual and most impressive, worked tirelessly and without pause to quickly remove our old garage door and then install the Amarr steel garage door we ordered, as well as new springs and railings.  The entire process took approximately four hours, and Brandon, despite sweltering humidity and near-90 degree temperatures, did a marvelous job.  When viewing his work and efforts, one could easily understand how, during World War II, industrialist Henry J. Kaiser's highly skilled shipyard workers could build and launch a ten thousand-ton Liberty cargo ship in as little as four days, or how Henry Ford's Willow Run, Michigan aircraft assembly plant could produce a B-24 "Liberator" bomber every 55 minutes. It is gratifying to see that the employees of Precision Garage Door embrace such a similar ethic and pride in their work, and it is obvious that owner Lowell Wilson is genuinely concerned that his company provides its customers with the best products and services it possibly can.   The total price of the installation was entirely reasonable and fair, and the work performed by Brandon Barcafer was exceptional.   You won't go wrong by having Precision Garage Door of Memphis repair your garage door or perhaps install a new one, for in this case the name of this company says it all.
