Had one little problem when the owner tried to add 400.00 to the bill for work that had been promised within the original estimate. The work wasn't detailed on the estimate and the 400.00 was way over value (to move a pile < 50 pound of cut up shrub). In the end they did the work and did NOT charge me the extra 400.00.

I previously, gave this company a bad review, but after talking with Raul in their office on 04/26/2021 about a problem I had with the company going back to last year in 07/20 about a stump that had not been fully removed He got into action. He explained their had been some changes in staff and apologized for any inconvenience. He sent out a crew the same day who not only completely removed the stump but also some above ground roots that had been overlooked. They completely cleaned up the area and left no debris. I was very happy how this turned out and wood definitely use this company again and would recommend them to others. Kudos to Raul and the crew he sent out today. Thank you D.P. Michael quoted me $800 for removing 1 tree and grinding out the stump. After I submitted the signed quote to start the job I received another quote for $500 from Silver Axe. DPs quote states they will match any competitors price so I asked Michael if they would match Silver Axe. He would not and also would not allow me to cancel without forfeiting my 20% deposit. They scheduled the work for 12:00 on a Saturday. I called at 12:30 to see if the were still coming. I was told between 2:00 - 3:00. At 3:30 I called again and all the lady could tell me was they would be there sometime yet today. She was rude and not helpful. I asked to speak to the owner. She said he was not there but gave me his phone number. I called and left a detailed message about both the price issue and being treated the way I was when I called in. I asked for him to call back. Never received a call back. The 2 crews that came out were EXCELLENT. It is unfortunate the rest of the company was not!

Arrived as scheduled. The crew worked very well together. Finished the job in a timely manner. Very professional!

We have hired them before, and would hire them again.

Did a great job and cleaned up everything. Very polite and hard working.

Great service. Quickly removed the tree and did a great job cleaning up afterwards. The tree had to be felled on my property and my neighbors and I did not have to cleanup as much a leaf after they were finished.

Will not hire this firm again.
