After the work was completed, I spoke with the owner to tell him that an employee had dropped a branch through the roof of my shed and broke it. I had told him in advance to be careful around the structure because it was old and delicate. It was clearly a small accident, and all I wanted was for the owner to apologize and have an honest discussion about how to make it right (how much would it cost me to repair the roof). Instead, he yelled at me on the phone, accusing me of wanting his company to break my roof, and telling me that I had not read the agreement because only my house was protected by the contract I had signed. He did eventually offer part of the money it would cost me to fix the roof, but he was incredibly aggressive. While the work completed by his team was solid, I would never recommend this company because the owner had shockingly poor communication and customer service skills.
I quoted this job with 3 different contractors. DP did not have the best price but could do it quickly so I decided to hire them. I have used tree services before and I know the job site can be left somewhat dirty. DP left it VERY dirty. I gave them a call to explain my problem. The owner called me at 7:00am to point out to me in the agreement where he was protected and hang-up on my face. Unbelievable how sometimes people lose a client for too little.

When we spoke to you about moving forward with the job, we set up a date for our crew to come out, you willingly chose to pressure wash your driveway the day before resulting in tire markings left behind from our equipment. Our contract, which was signed, states DP Tree Removal and Landscaping is not liable for any markings. Again, we are sorry for any and all inconvenience this may have caused.
Company failed to show up as promised on Friday, August 7, 2020, noon, per signed written estimate contract . Owner decided his estimator did not charge enough. I had to call them to find out this info when they failed to show up for agreed upon work. Bob Roesch 08/11/2020- 5:17 pm.
We are so sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. Our contracts do not state what time or date our people will be showing up. Once you decide to move forward we can set a date but not an exact time. We usually try to give a window time but we can't help any setbacks that may occur throughout the day. Our estimator as well as our secretary tried to reach out days prior, to ask if you wanted to go ahead and move forward with the job, but never got an answer until the day that we were supposed to do the actual job.
