Reviews
Write a ReviewWhen the hurricane blew through, we lost two trees which uprooted and knocked down part of the fence. They came out the day after we called, took care of the trees, restored the fence posts, and put up new chain link. They were efficient and professional. The price was very reasonable.
Let me start by saying that the only reason I chose this company is that, of the 4 companies I requested a quote from, it was the only one I got a response from. On my submission form, I said that I have 3 pine trees and a bush that I need to be removed. When the guy (the owner) came out to give me the quote, I walked with him to the trees I wanted to be removed. The trees were located between my neighboring and my driveway. He asked if I wanted the whole area cleared and I said yes. His crew came the next day and I saw that they had only removed one pine tree and a bush and seemed to be finishing up. I asked the guy who seemed to be in charge and he confirmed that, yes, that is all he was asked to do. He called the owner for me who proceeded to make up this story in which he asked me if I wanted all three trees removed and I said no, just the one tree and bush. Why in the world would I have stated on my submission form that I needed three trees removed and then answered no when asked to confirm that very thing? In the end, he used the fact that his crew was already conveniently there (and that it would be much more expensive in the spring) to get another $400 out of me to cut down two trees and grind the stumps. Needless to say, I would not hire this company again.
Thank you so much for your feedback. We do consider all of our customers satisfactory. We understand your frustration with the experience you had with our company. Unfortunately the sales person did explain and review the job with you and marked up what was going to be done and gave you the estimate with the description of the job. The contract of the job was also reviewed with you and you had agreed upon it and signed it. We are sorry that your experience with us was not the best.
Did a great job. Nice guy.
DP Services had someone out to assess the job the day after I called and a team was out to do the work two days later. I needed one large and two small trees taken down and a number of trees limbed up, including some with limbs over the house. Most of the limb removal was accomplished with a pole saw, but two trees required climbing. I asked if the climbing could be done without spikes, and the team agreed. The climber was very skilled with the throw-bag and line used to pull the ropes up, and careful to remain secured in the trees. Haul away was included in the job: every piece of debris was picked up and leaves were blown. The team went above and beyond expectations in every aspect of the job, and I was well satisfied.
Quick response. Great work.
The crew was very professional and courteous.
Did great work
They did a great job. Did everything I asked at the time the estimate was given and cleaned up all the debris.
The D P Landscaping & Tree Service, Inc. did a great job. They came on time, cleaned up debris and fixed the fence. I would use their services again.
