I am buying a home in Sarsota sight unseen as I am in Utah, but need to get this transaction done, I and travel during the corona pandemic is ill-advised. The home is a 1979 build that has been substantially remodeled. I was worried about both the underlying soundness of the original construction and the quality of the remodel work since I have done remodeling my self and also experienced some pretty shoddy work that was covered up and behind walls. Art understood my needs and concerns. He is very fluent in all the different building systems, criteria and knows how to get beneath the surface for his findings. Art stayed in regular contact with me including calling me directly after he finished his site visit to give me the rundown. All the issues were pretty minor thank goodness and Art's report helped us negotiate fixes with the seller. And we qualified for a hefty discount on our wind and storm insurance also based on Art's report. I highly recommend Casa Inspections for their professionalism, knowledge, value and promptness! You won't regret working with Art.

Art was very helpful in pointing out issues with our newly built home that we could have easily missed. He was prompt and did what he said he would do. He followed up after the inspect with a call and the report. The report was detailed with pictures to identify the issues. He also worked with the builder to identify areas that needed to be addressed. I would highly recommend Art.
