Reviews
Write a ReviewWe had an upstairs toilet very stopped up. I left a need on Service magic that night and the first call I received was from Benjamin's. I used them years ago, and have no idea why I stopped. And now I say that and know I won't roam again. They were here on the early end of their time slot, came in after he put shoe gloves on, and though I had tried many many times, he gave it a few plunges (much more vigorous than mine) and down it went. He even laughed when I told him I must have loosened it for him.
Overpriced rip off. They wanted to replace parts that I knew did not need replacing. Ben Franklin will continue to be "on time" to rip someone else off. If you need plumbing or any type of home repair, get quotes from 3 different companies first.
I paid $180 and the problem was not fixed.
The representives from Ben Franklin were coutious, expierenced and timely. They lisend to my needs, desinges and plans. They would be my choice of installer for my money, they offer the best support package that I've herd in the business.
They were a little pricey, but the job came witha warranty and the work was proficient. They answered all of my questions. I do not like however that my fence was broken. I even called them and told them about it and thye never returned my phone calls or offered to replace my fence. The work was good, but I am displeased with the damage to my property. For the price that I paid to have this work done, they should replace my fence, since they are the ones that broke it with their bulldozer.
they came on a sunday night, "fixed" my toilet and then the next morning we had to call them back .The lady that I spoke with the next morning told me that their work was not guaranteed and that we would be charged an additional service fee and whatever the plumber would charge to fix the toilet. I told her I wished to speak with a manager of some kind and she told me should would have someone call me that same day. By noon I hadn't heard anything and called back. I was able to speak with another associate and she talked to her manager and they did send someone back out free of charge but by that time the hassel of it was just overwhelming.
My only complaint is that when I scheduled the call, I informed them of a free service visit coupon that was on your website and I was told it would be indicated on the service order. We still got charged for the service visit, now I'm having to work to get it removed. The scheduler at Ben Franklin acknowledged that she had included this info on her order. I hope somebody clears this up or I won't be using this website again for referrals.
A repair person from BF came out and fixed my leaking outdoor faucet.
I have nothing bad to say about the experience but I also can't give a five star rating because of the cost (which was taken from a book of services so it was not set by the plumber doing the work). The plumber arrived on time and was very professional. The work requested was completred with no problems or concerns since then. I would have no problem with recommending Ben Franklin.
The salesman came and gave me a quote for work to be done. When the workmen came they did not do what the salesman said they were going to do and put a cheaper product in and charged me the same. I was not happy about it.
