"After having an increasing amount of water on our floors and interviewing many waterproofing companies for several years, we heard about Baker's Waterproofing from several friends who were very satisfied with their results many years later. Baker's was the most complete with the inspection and spent the time needed to explain why we were having this problem and the several ways they could fix it for us. Their presentation was filled with facts, not sales pressure, and helped to educate us so we could make the best decision. The cost was inline with most of the lesser companies and because they are a large locally owned and operated business the many awards they have won for their ethical business practices helped us to feel very comfortable with our decision to have them tackle our basement. Their representatives are all very considerate and knowledgeable. The crew doing the work was top notch and worked quickly with total confidence in what they were doing in spite of an unforeseen issue. I now have a completely dry basement that I now am able to finish the way I have planned for many years. I could not recommend Baker's Waterproofing any more highly! They are definitely the best value in basement waterproofing in the greater Pittsburgh region."

They even did the edging of my lawn down the entire length of my walkway and even in front of my garages. This was completely unexpected and much appreciated! "Plastering to windows and walls nearby was done beautifully on damaged areas from cracked caulking on exterior windows that faced the wind of a high hill. After caulking was done earlier, I went to the internet and found this website for home improvement companies and received a call from the company within a day's time. I then sent photos of the plaster damage and received a PDF of the company's price and description. I hired them immediately and they scheduled my plastering within 5 days! Although the temps were extremely cold, and the repair was in every room I have for my living quarters, it was well worth the scheduling than wait for warmer weather, or do the job in 3 parts, as there were 3 windows, one in each room. The job will be completed in 3 days (have 2 days completed) so I am looking forward to having the areas painted after the plaster dries - the areas look great already and have a final step to undergo, so I am well satisfied that Home Advisor has good people and that Mr. Handyman is my new contractor as I am buying another home (condo this time) that I will be responsible for the repairs to the interior. Thank you for being there when I needed you - I am selling this house to move to the condo too so time is of the essence in locating skilled artists in the many trades that keep a house beautiful!"
