"Priced many companies. Pricing from Paul R with BENJAMIN FRANKLIN PLUMBING was reasonable and work was excellent. Worked primarily with Paul R for plumbing and he recommended and subcontracted Mike with Odonnell Remodel who did tile work . Both men were great to work with and followed through the entire job. Due to the nature of the tile work we worked with Mike more than Paul. Both men are the type detail men that make you glad they are in your house. Mike especially went above and beyond the call of the job to make sure everything is finished and looking GREAT. We would have never found him with out hiring through BENJAMIN FRANKLIN PLUMBING. Ridgewood Ave. Suite B South Daytona, FL 32119 386-262-1111 Bathroom renovations for: Michael and Barbara B 1st Shower: Outline of Work done: Bathroom renovation where BENJAMIN FRANKLIN PLUMBING removed 60 x 30 cast iron tub and old tile in existing tub area and installed plumbing for 2 diverters and 2 shower heads one installed on current wall and one installed on opposite wall from current location. (One in existing location on North wall, and adding one to South Wall in new shower area.) (Showers on both ends of the new shower area where the old tub used to be located.) Installed two new valves and 2 new diverters for the new shower heads on vertical adjustable slide bars. Installed three 24 inch safety grab bars and 2 soap dishes and 2 corner trays in locations specified by home owner. Replaced old tile with new tile installed over NEW state of the art leak proof tile backer board. Tub was replaced with a tiled shower and cemented shower pan and leak proof liner, draining to the existing drain location. (They offered to move the drain to the middle of the shower but I did not see the need for that extra work.) Towel rack holders and toilet paper holder were replaced in front bathroom to match or highlight shower tiles. Tiles along base of wall were also replaced. 2nd Shower: Re-tiled and refinished master stand-up shower with new tiles and soap dish and corner tray as discussed with Mike O'Donnell and installed two 24 inch safety grab bars in locations specified by home owner. Installed new plumbing for diverter and shower head moving it to the west wall under the existing shower head. The new shower head was mounted on a vertical adjustable slide bar. Actually we ended up with 6 shower heads. 2 at each location. 1 Fixed and one on each the 3 slide bars with shower hoses. Installed 5 Stainless Steel. 24 in. Grab Bars we had already purchased. (Extra wood was installed behind the walls so they support up to 500 lb each.) Old tub and all job related demolition materials and excess debris were hauled away from job site. Some additional tile work next to the refrigerator in the kitchen. Mike ODonnell did tile work and went over any added features before work began. "West shore home did an awesome job remodeling our shower. The two technicians Jerry and Luke was awesome. They arrived at 8:20am and worked nonstop all day. They finished all the construction and installation by 5:30 the same day. They were very professional. They put down protection cloths on all floors where they walked. "I wanted a small update / remodel of my kitchen , new sink,faucet,garbage disposal and dishwasher .The dishwasher needed electrical and all new plumbing. I called Richards and immediately spoke to Renee. Renee told me they could meet all my need and they proceeded to help and guide me on what I needed regarding the garbage disposal. She told me to make sure I measured correctly . As I shopped for these items I touched base with her several times to make sure I had the right things like a faucet that would fit the sink and the holes that came with it. Renee was invaluable, always patient and very knowledgeable.She certainly made my comfort level literally a lot more â comfortableâ . She told me the costs up front and about how long the job would take considering new electric and some new plumbing would need to be run. On my big day Michael the plumber and Caden and Charlie the electricians arrived on time. They all got right to work. When the project was finished the new wall socket matched my others and during this project install the grout around my counters was broken and Michael regrouped all around the counter top , looked better than the original. All the lctrical line and the new place in the electric panel looked very nice. Michael also â educatedâ me for which I was grateful like since I am a snowbird put a little olive oil in the disposal when I leave to cut down on possible rust. He showed me the disposal warranty told me it was free and crawled underneath the sink to take a picture of the numbers so I could do the free registration for the warranty. When they all finished they brought in their shop vac and proceeded to sweep up their mess. These three men were professional, knowledgeable ,showed great respect for myself and my home. I asked Caden to look over my electrical panel to make sure it was all up to â snuffâ which he said. This whole project started with Renee and the comfort I felt in talking to her, she was never hurried always answered all my questions and was so knowledgeable. She just plain understood what I was trying to do when I told her everything I wanted was just plumbing and electrical. My job is wonderful I walk around my new kitchen and just canâ t stop smiling. Richard you have quite a staff and I would recommend them to anyone that wants a top notch job done at a fair price. These men charge by the hour and not one minute was spent not being productive and with this pandemic they were all masked. Thank you Renee, Michael, Caden and Charlie."
