"This company does Hot Water Heaters; With a singular focus --with nearly 30 years of experience-- I have never met a company that delivers such a perfect project. Water Heater Services LLC owner/operator, Curtis Littlefield and his helper out performed my expectations in every category of replacing my hot water heater. Pre project, the company listened to my requirements, gave me appropriate advice using language and terms that I understood. Once the requirements were agreed, with a good price for materials and labor, the install was scheduled for the next day. The team arrived on time, with the correct tools, product, and vigor. The old water heater was drained, disconnected, and removed. The new heater was installed per my requirements and plumbing code, filled, tested, and the operation of the equipment was explained. The installation area was cleaned and waste was removed. Like watching a sports team, every movement between the well stocked and equipped truck and the equipment room was deliberate, efficient, and orderly. The new equipment was installed and heating water within 1½ hours. Curtis and his helper followed the Virginia COVID19 work guidelines exactly, which is comforting for those who are at risk or uncomfortable with visitors/contractors. Bravo! Thank you."

"My main water supply pipe had burst so I called multiple companies. Faruk was the first to respond and show up on a weekend to inspect the damage and provide an estimate. Things I like about this company: 1. They were extremely responsive to my needs and questions 2. They honored their estimate even though there were a couple of unforeseen obstacles which increased the length of the project and possibly the cost to them 3. They negotiated the estimate lowering it considering my situation 4. They took care of all permits and inspections 5. They cleaned up after the project was done to the best of their abilities 6. They were upfront and honest about the damage to my lawn due to excavations 7. They were very courteous and professional Things they could improve: 1. The project took a little longer than anticipated. A lot of their work was manual which could have been fast tracked with the use of machinary i.e. digging etc. 2. We replaced the entire main pipe assuming that it was defective/polybutelene pipe since it was underground and flooded. We layer found out it was not the case but they proceeded anyway rather than fixing the broken length. While I think it was probably the safest choice it may not have been necessary and they never brought it up later."

"Technician arrived early, and was ready to diagnose and fix my Heat Pump/A/C if it was required. The technician, Diego, was very professional. Arrived in a full size van which You can stand upright in, and had everything needed for the job. He inspected external coil, compressor, lines, and the HVAC inside the house, very thoroughly. I forgot to add, Diego put new blue boot covers on before he entered our house each time. He determined we needed a little bit of R22 (Freon). Once that was done, he inserted a temp gauge into the Inspection Hole in the vent above the furnace. Nice & crispy cold 68-degrees was pumping through the house. Yay! I have dealt with at least six (!) different companies, and never had such a professional tech who explained everything thoroughly step by step, and did everything neatly, and cleanly. Everything was fastened together better than it was before and our system rocks! Best HVAC service, hands down! NOTICE: We have not been compensated for this review in any way or form. This is an honest retirees review of a great small business, and a superb technician who actually takes pride in what he does!"

"My tech was quick to point out some rather glaring issues that were difficult to rationalize. I immediately recalled a prior summertime repair from a different company whereby my system was deemed to be at the end of its useful life. Two wires (yes two) were found unconnected at the safety pressure switch. A toggle switch on the Trane Gas valve was found in the off position also. This system will go another ten years, I'm convinced of that, but it appears this Vienna, VA outfit felt that they could make the case with dubious business practices."

"This team of plumbers , led by Lead Plumber, Josh Harvey, were unbelievable. They put in an entirely new main sewer line within two days and cleaned up the awful mess right away. They even put back my fence that had to be taken down due to the machinery being used. The owner, Jon Beauchamp, was a real pleasure to meet and he was on site with his workers. He was real easy to talk to and explained the entire process to me so that I would understand everything and even found out about the old antique French Drain in my basement I never knew was a French Drain. Both Jon and Josh kept me informed all the way through. I will use "1 Step Mechanical, Inc." again and my neighbor, Charles, already set up an appointment with this company to do his plumbing projects. I cannot tell you how many plumbers were asking for 29K for the job 1 Step Mechanical just did for 8500. They even extended themselves and fixed the kitchen pipe which was attached to the French Drain and reconnected it to the main sewer line for just 500.00 Thank you Jon, Josh and team of fantastic plumbers.
