Painter Bros of Scottsdale

The end product was good but would not recommend spray procedure for a lived in home. Rolling would have been cleaner, easier and even faster. I believe it lays a thicker coat pf paint on to enhance longevity.

Painter Pros were on-time, efficient while there and very helpful in the whole process. And their color suggestions (from Sherwin-Williams) were spot-on. We will use them again when we are ready to paint.mw

At the beginning of July 2019 my wife and I decided to have the wood siding on our house stained. Someone advised me to use Home Advisor which I have never used before and they sent me the contact information for two local companies. After getting four bids we decided on Painterbros. A few days later a crew arrived to pressure wash and prep the house. On the first day they pressure washed only the first story of the two story home and left. When they returned the next day they started prepping and I asked them if they were going to do the second story and I was told that it was done the day before. I was at home the day before and I know that it was not done. I had chosen a stain that they had never used before and it requires two coats with a drying time of 24 hours in between . I asked them if they had read the instructions on the can and they replied no. I asked them if they were going to do two coats and one of them made a motion back and forth with his hand and said that is two coats. I had a hard time communicating with them because they did not speak English. They started prepping the house by covering the gutters and down spouts and then suddenly left. I spoke with the Painterbros representative and he told me me that a different crew was going to finish the job. A few days later we heard noise at six oclock in the morning. I went outside to see what was going on and a second crew arrived and started pressure washing. When I tried to speak to them they told me that they do not speak English and left. Three weeks later a crew arrived and I was able to communicate with them. They did a good job which would have been even better if they would have had more time but they had another job going at the same time. Because of this they missed painting the inside of the door frame and applied only one coat to the deck railing, they did come back a week later to apply another coat to the deck railing and I had finished the door frames. Our painting nightmare lasted about four weeks and it was supposed to be three to four days.

Scheduling and Communication could have been better. Eduardo and Maribelle did a great job. Very pleasant to work with and it seemed that nothing was a problem for them. The outside trim on my house was in very poor condition. They scraped, caulked, masked and the paint looks better than I expected. The removed/replaced some accessory pieces rather than going around and worked in some very awkward places. The cleanup was ok. They prepped and painted in one day..

I am very pleased with the finished job. They painted the exterior of my house and did a very good job.

They did a fantastic job. There were a few touch up spots when they finished but they took care of those as well. The painters were very kind and courteous. Would recommend.
