Foundation Recovery Systems

This work was completed on a domestic violence shelter that houses approximately 20 people on the lower level. When FRS was contacted, we had mold on the walls, and mushrooms growing on the carpet. It was in very bad shape. We were no longer allowing people to reside on the lower level.  They said they could get the moisture out and they really did.  They were prompt, fast, and very clean. There was cement coming in through  the windows and machinery everywhere. We thought we would be cleaning up forever, but we only had a little sweeping to do before we could start putting our new floor in. They are very good at what they do. It has been two years and with all of the flooding outside, there has not been any sign of moisture.  We have been very surprised by the entire process.

They were great.  Started when they said they would finished on time and cleaned up nicely.  And best of all fixed the problem.

The work was done quickly and professionally. If you have work that needs to be done, be prepared for a long wait.  We contacted them in November and it was April before they were able to get the work done.  Well worth the wait though.

Very professional and quicker than expected . We were informed on all steps of procidure . The details given on procidure were very clear and in laymans terms. When they left it was clean and felt as if we were an important client.

Went good. Guys that came were knowledgeable and nice. Installed to me what looked to be as they showed me. The only thing was the outside drain ended up below the level of the ground and they kind of made a well but using bricks that I had in the area. Not so pretty to look at.

I knew my foundation had to be giving way as much of our living area is in the finished basement of our home and the floors down there were cracking and the upstairs was actually leaning in one corner.  I obtained four bids, but the professionalism, time and thoroughness of Foundation Systems exceeded the others by far.  I had to wait 5 months before they could actually do the work, so that was disappointing but I took it as their reputation proceeding them and they were just busy, which their crew confirmed, they've been working non-stop all winter.  The crew showed up on time as planned.  The plan was to have 11 piers installed around 2 sides of my home.  After about an hour or so the foreman determined the wall on the corner of the house we were trying to lift was not sitting on footers, but rather little more than 5" of slab.  To try and put pressure on that slab would result in destroying it and possibly the entire back wall.  He made a call to his boss and after 45 minutes or so Jeff was there at our home as well.  The two conferred and came to me with an alternate plan to make the repairs appropriately and necessary for my home.  The project was considerably more extensive, but everything was presented to me professionally and as an option, without scare tactics.  They wrote out a change order that removed the cost of the piers they were unable to install, added clearly the cost of the additional ones (at a reduced rate from their normal cost I will add) and they did the work to completion.  I won't lie, it was a tad overwhelming, but because of the circumstances and the situation, not them.  The foreman Jesse was AWESOME and clearly explained everything to our satisfaction making sure we were comfortable and understood what was being done; even if we had to ask multiple times.  The senior foreman Jeff drove all the way back out during the installation as well to ensure we were satisfied and address a change I requested, and I always felt treated with respect and understanding. Foundation repairs are scary and overwhelming in the amount of money you spend and in our case the extent of work that had to be done inside our home (meaning carpeting had to come up and be replaced, only adding to that expense).  However I couldn't be MORE PLEASED with the attention, compassion, and understanding this company's crew provided.  Our foremen Jesse and Ryan were thoughtful always taking off their shoes even when they knew they were walking on carpeting I would have to pull.  We knew when they were coming and going, they showed us various things about our foundation as they were working so we had a better understanding of our home, and reassurances that when they left our home would be set.  Jesse and Ryan let their crew go staying well into the evening to try and get our back door to open since they knew we couldn't raise the house as planned but wanted to provide us this little bit of convenience in our lives.  The senior foreman Jeff who came out to set up a new plan and address my change of plans, was as professional as they come, and with compassion obtained us a discount on the additional piers knowing we had another budget entirely for this project. We are completely satisfied with Foundation Recovery Systems and would refer them to anyone in need of foundation repair or water proofing.  Our house may be crooked still, but it's solid and we appreciate the work and peace of mind they provided!

The employees who performed the mud jacking services on the driveway did a  professional job.  These services were carried through in a skilled and efficient manner.  The employees who worked in the basement were both polite and punctual.  Overall I was satisfied with the work done by Foundation Recovery Systems of Moberly Missouri.

I called Foundation Recovery Systems about 11:00am to get an estimate. The woman answering called back later to say Jeremy would be in my area about 1:00 and would I like him to come by. He came (neat - friendly -on time) looked the problem over carefully and said it was definitely not a sinking cement problem. He suggested a simple solution that I could do.  I was very pleased.
