established company, smooth, efficient job
At this moment I do not know if it is a success. I will know more as the rains come. I can address the issues that I found while dealing with the company. ..Once the contract is signed to do the work, additional work to prepare the basement for installation begin to come to light. For me it was the removal of my bathroom, addition of two electrical outlets. Added about $5,000 to final cost (done by companies I had to hire) ..Work date was about 2.5 months from signing of contract. No follow through except the week before to double check date of install. ..Initial crew showed up to do install and refused to the install because they did not have enough room to work. The Sales Rep. assured me I would not have to move all basement items out. (not true). Plus this crew stated that mud would be all over the place once they began to work..(not true). Second crew showed up for install after I removed and stored basement contents in the garage. Issues ...Crew members being asked to leave and left in order to work on in house projects in the middle of mine. ...Crew complaining about dealing with rock basement and plumbing and gas lines that were attached to wall. ...Basement floor was painted and in relatively good shape, after install it is chipped, scarred and will need to be cleaned and repainted.... and there is concrete stuck to the floor and dust on the plastic walls and odor that permeates the house of wet concrete, and plastic even a week later. ...Removed utility sink, did not reinstall and tried to leave it in the yard...and now it is broken...and I have no access to water in order to clean. Not the quality I was expecting but I want others to know what to ask about before getting involved in the basement waterproofing work done by this company. Like I said , I do not know if this waterproofing job was done correctly or will work, I only know the facts that I have listed above. (not true)
Job not complete as of yet delayed until late November a little disappointed after paying in full
