ABEL WAS VERY KNOWLEDGABLE OF THE TYPE OF OFFSHOOT TREES THAT APPEARED ON MY PROPERTY (PERHAPS FROM ANIMALS DROPPING SEEDS WHICH THEN BECAME SAPLINGS) ANYWAYS THE TEAM WAS ON TIME,EFFICIENT AND CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES VERY WELL. IMPRESSED ENOUGH TO REFER TO FAMILY MEMBER TO GET A QUOTE. ALSO WOULD HIRE THEM AGAIN IF NECESSARY IN TH E FUTURE.

Able and his crew @ Discount Tree Care Arborists did a great job for us, (Fullerton). They removed a tree and stump, also trimmed some trees and cleaned up an overgrown hillside. Quality of work was good. Very polite and friendly. A+++ service.

Customer service was really good.

I could go into detail but I will leave it as simple as possible- Very disrespectful to women, period. Assured me he would call gas company to locate gas lines that ran DIRECTLY under trees to be removed. He did nothing, no regard for safety. He send his guys in to start stump grinding after I TOLD THEM NOT TO; they would have to return after I took care of locating dangerous pipes. VERY UNSAFE attitude and more absolute rudeness, actually saying to me 'do not worry about it little lady.' I sent them away and paid $400 to have gas lines traced. Had I not told them to leave when I did they would have grinded right through a major gas line which ran directly through the heart of the tree removed. Complete disregard for what a WOMAN was telling them, treated me like I was stupid and knew nothing.. I am not; in fact I was terrified for his crew. Included in the quote was removal of 10 feet of concrete sidewalk and haul away of it and other debris from the job. The concrete sidewalk removal and disposal was INCLUDED IN THE QUOTE. I now have a pile of concrete on the side of my house. They never came with the proper truck to take this concrete away; I believe they never intended to complete this part of the job. The owner actually said to me 'just put a chunk in your trash can every week.' That is not what I paid for and after recent back surgery not possible. My first red flag was when the crew showed up and did not know what they were supposed to do?? So I told them what the plan was and the crew leader called the owner (the guy who quoted me at my house) and he gives me a NEW price $300 higher!! I showed them the written quote with the lower price and they decided to 'honor it.' I have NEVER had a contractor do such a thing and should have sent them packing. One more red flag and extremely rude. The owner and his son speak perfect English, however while standing in my backyard and getting the original quote both would talk to me (in English) and then often break into a secret conversation between the two in Spanish, excluding me. Why the secrecy? I have lost faith in Home Advisors and will NEVER use them again. There is no way they know who they are recommending and they cannot possibly be vetting these companies. This tree company is the worst, unsafe rudest and most dishonest contractor I have EVER worked with! Don't give this company your business; there are too many others who will actually honor a written quote and complete the job AS PROMISED.. This is NOT that company!!
