Only two things that prevent a completely 5 star rate: 1. The salesperson showed up at my door without an appointment. 2. When they also did my neighbor's tree removal at the same time, they did not completely cleanup the bark trash and left at least one of the stumps "un-grinded". My yard was cleaned up just fine, but I hate to see my neighbors be disappointed. Not sure why I went ahead and hired them after he showed up without an appointment...normally that would have caused me to eliminate a company right off the bat. However, as it turns out, I'm glad I did. My previous tree company would listen to my needs for the trees and say yes, yes, that's what we will do....and then proceed to do whatever they wanted instead. Also, the previous company never had even one crew member who could converse in English. After the salesperson or foreman left, no one could understand me, nor I them. In contrast, Discount listened to my needs for the trees and did what was needed per my request. And Eddie was there the whole time and was fluent in both Spanish and English. I will hire them again and I will ask that I get to have Eddie on the crew again! Eddie went the extra mile to make sure everything was as good or better than I was expecting.

The rep. was very friendly and the workers were very efficient. Will use them again for tree trimming.

You get what you pay for! I reached out to Discount Tree Care and 2 other vendors. All three were able to come by and give me an estimate for the work. Discount Tree care provided the best price for the work. Richard sent his team over that same day and they got to work on my trees. I take part fault in the outcome because I could not supervise his team while they were working due to a work conflict. However the the outcome was not exactly what I imaged and when I reached out to Richard he was not super helpful with offering solutions. His team cut almost all the branches off my Kumquat tree and left maybe 20 leaves. I am actually worried my tree is going to die. They asked me to review their work at the end and it is not like they can put the branches and leaves back on if they've already cut it all off. Then I asked them to thin my bamboo plant more and they said no because they were ready to leave. In addition, my poor pepper tree looks like it has a mullet and when I shared a picture with Richard he said that's exactly what he told his team to do. So there was clearly a breakdown in communication between what I envisioned and the service that was provided. I appreciate the quick turn around time but the customer service to address my concerns were lacking. I would not recommend this vendor unless you are 100% fluent in Spanish and available to supervise them while they are working .

I had two large branches headed to my neighbor's house just above his powerline and my house's powerline. They were able to cut the branches safely without a cherry picker/ basket boom. The workers were able to complete the job in four hours, which included clean-up. They do take cash, check, and credit cards. But charge three dollars for every hundred charged for the job if you pay by credit card. I was not notified of this until after the job was completed, so ask if there are any additional fees or charges depending on how you make your payment. They do state they are licensed, bonded, and insured. I was satisfied with their work.

Abel and Richard’s team did a great job at removing five ficus trees from the property. Job was complete in less than 3 hours and they’re team did an excellent job at cleaning up the area after completing the project. Highly recommend and will be using their services again for annual brush clearing and tree trimming! Great work and team!
