The installers were very meticulous with their work. They were respectful of our property and pets. They left the property clean and removed all the old windows and building material. Guys from Lexington, KY did a great job! They ended up taking out 16 windows (two became one picture window, and it looks great.) and having 15 windows set before noon! Can't say enough about their professionalism, hard work ethic, and integrity. Index was 110 degrees the day they installed the windows (they went through 2 water coolers and I even gave them more water) but they put their heads down and drove through. Forgot to mention all my window except 2 required a ladder some their boss had to go purchase a taller ladder because theirs couldn't reach that high. Tyler T., Levi F., C. Jackson, Shawn S., Kirkland M., Troy T., and John M. you guys are the best. After that day you all deserve gigantic pay raises!

David Bailey came out and helped us decide about changing our tub/shower into a walk in shower. Tim F and Matthew S was our installers they were very professional and when they were done cleaned up. We used the shower tonight for the reason we needed it and it made things much easier. Thank you all so much. Would recommend this company to anyone that needed work done. We had a shower unit ordered but was on back order till wasn't sure. But thanks to west shore home and these 3 men we had a walk in shower in 1 day

Levi French was the lead along with team members Jodie, Brenton and Costas Jackson these guys were amazing. They did the install cleaned the window afterward and there was no mess left behind. I was amazed with this. Very professional and Iâ m am so happy I went with this company. Thank you

We're committed to maintaining a network of trusted home service businesses, and those who don't meet our criteria will be rejected or promptly removed from our network.

Criminal Background Check

Who does HomeAdvisor background check?

The owner or principal of each business in HomeAdvisor's network (with the exception of Corporate Accounts) must pass a background check. Unfortunately, we cannot perform a background check on every employee of a business—the background checks are performed only on the owner or principal. As always, we recommend that you conduct your own research on the businesses you hire, including making inquiries directly with the businesses regarding their employee background check policies.

What does the background check cover?

We use a third-party vendor to conduct a criminal records search in the county in which the business owner or principal works. Our third-party vendor uses a national criminal database ("NCD") to screen service professionals. Business owners or principals with felony arrests that carry a pending decision or who are convicted of felonies in the past 7 years ago will not be admitted to the network. Businesses or owners convicted misdemeanors or felonies, or who have dismissed charges or arrests on their records involving rape/incest, sex offenses, or lewd and lascivious behavior at any point in time will not be admitted to our network.

Our background check does not exclude service professionals unless the crime at issue is a felony.

*The comprehensiveness of the NCD varies by state. Please be aware that the reporting in the NCD is particularly limited in the following states: AL, CO, DE, GA, ID, IL, KS, LA, ME, MA, MI, MS, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM, SD, UT, VA, VT, and WY. After initial admission to the HomeAdvisor network, businesses are re-screened if a concern is reported to HomeAdvisor.

Corporate Accounts

Some businesses are employees, franchisees, dealers or independent contractors ("Corporate SP's") of larger national or "Corporate Accounts". When this is the case, we may match you with the Corporate Account or with one of their Corporate businesses. The above screening process does not apply to Corporate Accounts, as HomeAdvisor does not screen Corporate Accounts or Corporate businesses.

Verify Trade License HomeAdvisor checks to see if the business carries the appropriate state-level license. Verify Insurance As a part of our screening process, we encourage professionals to carry general liability insurance. We require coverage for hundreds of services. Verification of State Business Filings For business types that require a Secretary of State filing, we confirm that the business is in good standing in the state in which it is located. Criminal Records Search HomeAdvisor uses 3rd party data sources to conduct a criminal search for any relevant criminal activity associated with the owner/principal of the business. Sex Offender Search We confirm that the owner/principal is not listed on the official state Sex Offender web site in the state in which the owner/principal of the company is located. Bankruptcy Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the history of the principal/owner of the business for bankruptcy filings by or against them. Legal Search for Civil Judgments We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for state level civil legal judgments entered against them. Liens Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for liens placed against them. Identity Verification (SSN) HomeAdvisor verifies the social security number(s) of the owner/principal for identity check purposes. This check applies primarily to smaller business entities. Identity Verification (Reverse Phone Lookup) We conduct a reverse business phone lookup to identify records matching the phone number information provided by the business.
