From our first visit with Evan Schwartz to discuss our options to Jeremy & Christian installing the new shower yesterday, we have been very impressed and most satisfied! Remodel a Bathroom

Jared C, Topher H, and Will R did a great job replacing our tub/shower. We knew this would be a rough tear out because our house is older but they handled everything so well! Iâ m so impressed that they finished the job in one day! I know it would have taken other people/companies multiple days to do! Now we donâ t have to be without a shower for longer than necessary. Lee also did a great job explaining the job before they came. We are very happy with the finished product and will definitely recommend Westshore!

Remodel a Bathroom

We had a traditional tub/shower combo replaced with a walk-in shower on day one, and our master bathroom walk-in shower replaced with a new walk-in on day two. What a difference! Our installers, Braeden W. & Andrew P. were prompt, professional, and got the job done as promised. We are loving all the extra room these showers provide. We wish we would have done it years ago.

Just had a custom walk-in shower installed, (an old shower/tub combo removed) by West Shore. The installers showed up right on time and got busy with exceptional work. I couldn't be more pleased with the work completed in a day, just as promised. The installers, Matt and Jacob did an excellent job! The shower is beautiful!

The people at West Shore Home are amazing, they did everything top notch. Jeremy and Christian made everything look amazing. My new shower is everything I imagined it would be They took a tub shower combo that was old and worn out and made a walk in shower that is amazing. Most of the time you can't believe the ads you see on T.V., But when I set up a consult with Jordan and he explained my options and went into detail step by step what was going to happen and was confident in what he was saying I had a feeling I picked a good company. When Tyler showed up to put in the bathroom window that boosted my confidence and when Jeremy and Christian finished the install and made it a reality I was at peace. We had tub to shower in stalled today .It looks so beautiful I hate to use it. The men that worked on this was Neal K, Stan F. Danny N. wonderful workers, very polite I would use them again.

We're committed to maintaining a network of trusted home service businesses, and those who don't meet our criteria will be rejected or promptly removed from our network.

Criminal Background Check

Who does HomeAdvisor background check?

The owner or principal of each business in HomeAdvisor's network (with the exception of Corporate Accounts) must pass a background check. Unfortunately, we cannot perform a background check on every employee of a business—the background checks are performed only on the owner or principal. As always, we recommend that you conduct your own research on the businesses you hire, including making inquiries directly with the businesses regarding their employee background check policies.

What does the background check cover?

We use a third-party vendor to conduct a criminal records search in the county in which the business owner or principal works. Our third-party vendor uses a national criminal database ("NCD") to screen service professionals. Business owners or principals with felony arrests that carry a pending decision or who are convicted of felonies in the past 7 years ago will not be admitted to the network. Businesses or owners convicted misdemeanors or felonies, or who have dismissed charges or arrests on their records involving rape/incest, sex offenses, or lewd and lascivious behavior at any point in time will not be admitted to our network.

Our background check does not exclude service professionals unless the crime at issue is a felony.

*The comprehensiveness of the NCD varies by state. Please be aware that the reporting in the NCD is particularly limited in the following states: AL, CO, DE, GA, ID, IL, KS, LA, ME, MA, MI, MS, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM, SD, UT, VA, VT, and WY. After initial admission to the HomeAdvisor network, businesses are re-screened if a concern is reported to HomeAdvisor.

Corporate Accounts

Some businesses are employees, franchisees, dealers or independent contractors ("Corporate SP's") of larger national or "Corporate Accounts". When this is the case, we may match you with the Corporate Account or with one of their Corporate businesses. The above screening process does not apply to Corporate Accounts, as HomeAdvisor does not screen Corporate Accounts or Corporate businesses.

Verify Trade License HomeAdvisor checks to see if the business carries the appropriate state-level license. Verify Insurance As a part of our screening process, we encourage professionals to carry general liability insurance. We require coverage for hundreds of services. Verification of State Business Filings For business types that require a Secretary of State filing, we confirm that the business is in good standing in the state in which it is located. Criminal Records Search HomeAdvisor uses 3rd party data sources to conduct a criminal search for any relevant criminal activity associated with the owner/principal of the business. Sex Offender Search We confirm that the owner/principal is not listed on the official state Sex Offender web site in the state in which the owner/principal of the company is located. Bankruptcy Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the history of the principal/owner of the business for bankruptcy filings by or against them. Legal Search for Civil Judgments We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for state level civil legal judgments entered against them. Liens Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for liens placed against them. Identity Verification (SSN) HomeAdvisor verifies the social security number(s) of the owner/principal for identity check purposes. This check applies primarily to smaller business entities. Identity Verification (Reverse Phone Lookup) We conduct a reverse business phone lookup to identify records matching the phone number information provided by the business.
