Remodel a Bathroom

Had this shower installed a year ago and we love it. The sliding doors started dragging so I called West shore and asked them to look at it. Matt came by and showed exactly when he said he would and found out our top piece was defective to he changed it out with a newer model and now it glides like a dream. Great work, no mess and finished in a reasonable amount of time. Thanks Matt

Remodel a Bathroom

This was an amazing experience. We needed a safe shower for my handicapped husband. Everyone was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The home consultation with Josh was actually fun because he was able to give us guidance on how to plan our shower. The installation experience was amazing! Ryan, Zack and Landon B. arrived on time and completed the installation with almost no disruption to our household. They were efficient, friendly and went above and beyond in their installation. Even though there was demolition with power tools they were quiet and cleaned up everything! The shower is beautiful and sooo much safer for my husband. I hate that I procrastinated because I was afraid a bad experience. This was the BEST experience I have ever had with a contractor. It was easy from start to finish. They arranged financing for us so I didnâ t even have to do that. One other note for pet ownersâ ¦.we have 3 inside dogs and 2 outside farm dogs. My inside dogs were safely contained during the process but the installation process wasnâ t stressful for them because the team worked so effectively. We also have a large cockatoo and several parakeets so I am always worried about toxic fumes around them. The adhesive and silicone that they used had very little smell and my birds were fine. Again, an awesome experience! This company does exactly what it says it is going to do! Highly recommend Westshore.

We're committed to maintaining a network of trusted home service businesses, and those who don't meet our criteria will be rejected or promptly removed from our network.

Criminal Background Check

Who does HomeAdvisor background check?

The owner or principal of each business in HomeAdvisor's network (with the exception of Corporate Accounts) must pass a background check. Unfortunately, we cannot perform a background check on every employee of a business—the background checks are performed only on the owner or principal. As always, we recommend that you conduct your own research on the businesses you hire, including making inquiries directly with the businesses regarding their employee background check policies.

What does the background check cover?

We use a third-party vendor to conduct a criminal records search in the county in which the business owner or principal works. Our third-party vendor uses a national criminal database ("NCD") to screen service professionals. Business owners or principals with felony arrests that carry a pending decision or who are convicted of felonies in the past 7 years ago will not be admitted to the network. Businesses or owners convicted misdemeanors or felonies, or who have dismissed charges or arrests on their records involving rape/incest, sex offenses, or lewd and lascivious behavior at any point in time will not be admitted to our network.

Our background check does not exclude service professionals unless the crime at issue is a felony.

*The comprehensiveness of the NCD varies by state. Please be aware that the reporting in the NCD is particularly limited in the following states: AL, CO, DE, GA, ID, IL, KS, LA, ME, MA, MI, MS, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM, SD, UT, VA, VT, and WY. After initial admission to the HomeAdvisor network, businesses are re-screened if a concern is reported to HomeAdvisor.

Corporate Accounts

Some businesses are employees, franchisees, dealers or independent contractors ("Corporate SP's") of larger national or "Corporate Accounts". When this is the case, we may match you with the Corporate Account or with one of their Corporate businesses. The above screening process does not apply to Corporate Accounts, as HomeAdvisor does not screen Corporate Accounts or Corporate businesses.

Verify Trade License HomeAdvisor checks to see if the business carries the appropriate state-level license. Verify Insurance As a part of our screening process, we encourage professionals to carry general liability insurance. We require coverage for hundreds of services. Verification of State Business Filings For business types that require a Secretary of State filing, we confirm that the business is in good standing in the state in which it is located. Criminal Records Search HomeAdvisor uses 3rd party data sources to conduct a criminal search for any relevant criminal activity associated with the owner/principal of the business. Sex Offender Search We confirm that the owner/principal is not listed on the official state Sex Offender web site in the state in which the owner/principal of the company is located. Bankruptcy Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the history of the principal/owner of the business for bankruptcy filings by or against them. Legal Search for Civil Judgments We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for state level civil legal judgments entered against them. Liens Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for liens placed against them. Identity Verification (SSN) HomeAdvisor verifies the social security number(s) of the owner/principal for identity check purposes. This check applies primarily to smaller business entities. Identity Verification (Reverse Phone Lookup) We conduct a reverse business phone lookup to identify records matching the phone number information provided by the business.
