Reviews
Write a ReviewI hired MJC to move from a 1 bedroom condo to a 3 bedroom home 20 minutes apart. They quoted me 5 hours and it ended up taking 10 hours. They damaged a cabinet, sofa pillow, and I watched them drop a box labeled as fragile and broke a set of wine glasses. They pressured me to leave a 5 star review right in front of them before they left and their basic insurance offered me $31 for all the items they damaged.
The process was easy and smooth and we had no complaints.
They were fast professional and efficient. Will definitely use them again
They were quick efficient and professional
They were terrible made accusations that were not true and over charged from the original quote and made a total mess of the move
Customer service is SUPER! It is great at all. Administration. Customer service and the movers.
Hi Lucy, this is Ben. Thank you for your kind words once again. I hope you have a blessed day.
MJC will intentionally underestimate the moving job, so you will book with them. Once they show up at your home, the sh#t show starts. Expect to pay triple the price you were quoted. In a matter of minutes, my estimated move of 4 hours was now estimated at 10-11 hours @ $159 for 3 guys or $169 for 4 guys. Out of the 4 guys present, only 2 guys actually worked. The other 2 guys were just there to inflate the moving cost. Mike (owner/manager) stays on the phone with the fake team lead, providing instructions on how to prolong the moving process. My moving quote was $900, but I ended up paying MJC $2500. Imagine, I was charged $500 for supplies such as tape, reusable blankets, etc, even though i had my own supplies at the house that they used. In all seriousness, MJC is just out there scamming customers. I still need a Uhal to move the rest of my stuff that was left at the old house. The guys left my home at 9:15 p.m., but i still got charged until 10:30 pm. The team lead told me that they had to fold the reusable blankets on my time since they were supposed to be folding them while the move was happening.
I could cry! Cost us more than expected. Financially because they underestimated. We had to scramble and find a Uhaul because they did not have enough room, so cost, us time, stress, and more money! Now, finding damages that are our fault, We had purchased a mattress bag, our mattress is dirty, our comforter we left on it, is destroyed! A lamp shade that cannot be replaced is smashed! The entire back of my dresser is off. It is a cheaper dresser, but they wrapped it in a blanket and shrink wrap! How did they do it? I just started to unpack. I cant imagine what else I will find!
I was so impressed with MJC movers. They are professional, accommodating and the price is reasonable. I definitely recommend them and will use them in future moves. I like to say Hi ! to Deon and his crew. Great job and Thank you again.
