We moved recently from Decatur to Tucker. I told Susan that we had a lot of belongings and they estimated that we needed 2 trucks with 5 men for 10 hours at $299/hr. First, they arrived nearly 2 hours late. They shoved these ridiculous illegible papers in my face about insurance. Keep in mind that we were mostly packed, yet Brian insisted that it would be longer than they estimated. All they had to do was load the boxes, wrap the furniture, and disassemble the beds. It took them nearly an hour to wrap one sofa. They couldnâ t figure out how to move the kitchen table. They lost the screws to the table and the cord to my Peloton. It took them 2 1/2 hours to take half to storage. Then they took an extended lunch and frequent smoke breaks. They finally finished up at 2 am Sunday morning. They selected the boxes they wanted me to have in our apartment. Oh, they misplaced my lingerie, shoes, and handbags. They took our belongings to storage and left it in the truck on the hottest day this summer. They begrudgingly brought us the boxes we requested after my husband went to the facility to complain. Mike has yet to return my multiple calls. On top of all that we were charged a mint when they were intentionally slow. DO NOT HIRE THEM.

They were great. I worried that the young men did not have back braces on lifting the heavy items. Some of them seemed to be inexperienced, but overall it went smoothly. But unfortunately my piano was not put together correctly.

The movers were amazing! There was great communication throughout the entire process, from booking to moving day to refunding unused time after everything was moved. I moved on a weekday during peak moving season. The guys had been working until very late the night before and were still energetic, attentive, and quick. Because of the loaded moving schedule, there were some issues with the arrival time. I was frequently updated with new information and updated arrival estimates. Once the move was over, I was refunded for unused time in 15 minute increments. This was a great experience and I definitely plan to use MJC in the future.

Quality and efficient work! The guys got everything done much faster than time quoted, no concerns with any damages, and they enjoyed the job which made the move easier and more fun.
