The team was great. The manager was awful. Manager told us that we had to pay by cashier's check or there was a fee for a DEBIT card, but he only told us this when it came to paying - there wasn't anything on the estimate document to highlight this expectation. The manager, Mike, was more interested in his income than his customer. An absolute piece of work, disgrace!

Very Professional, Courteous. They took very good care of all of my items, furniture, and clothing. E., Ronnie, and Donnie we re phenomenal. Highly Recommend, MJC Movers. I will definitely use them fir my next move in the future, and I would refer them to anyone that needs moving services.

The particular group that moved involved 4 men. 3 of them were as perfect as humanly possible. The 4th person admitted he was a fill in, spends more time in office and in not in the best health. He had to take multiple breaks, however, he was extremely experienced and gave good advice to the others. They were all courteous. In retrospect, I still give the group a near perfect 5 and I would hesitate to use them again. I won't call any other company.

My husband and I have moved 6 times in 9 years and this was the worst moving company we have ever worked with. The guys who moved up were nice, however took a 15-minute break every hour that you paid for. And gave me a bag of bits to every piece of furniture in ONE BAG all together. No way to tell what tools go with what. I could have dealt with that however what was worse was, we had someone come in give us a quote of 1100, and then ended up charging 1900 due to unforeseen extras. Such as boxes and time that they did not account for. We paid for packing and ended up packing more than half of our house ourselves. I am seven months pregnant, and they asked for my help with moving certain things. The manager Danny was so disrespectful when I called to talk about the extra 800 dollars in charges and said he was going to have his men **keep our stuff** because we could **understand his math** said he would only talk to my husband. And refused to talk to me. This company performs a bait and switch. Came in and saw what needed to be done and low balled an estimate and then charges what they want. The disrespect, lining and unprofessionalism is unbelievable. I will be taking this complaint to the BBB but feel the need to review this company where I can, and warn others before they get scammed too.

In my opinion, this is a typical bate and switch operation. They quoted a price of $ 825 - they charged us over $2300! We asked for 2 trucks and 3 people and they insisted on 5 people. They said it would make the move go faster, so we agreed to the 5 people. They billed us for 9 hours to empty 2 storage lockers (10ft by 20ft each) and to put some things from those lockers in to a 3rd locker that was 10ft by 25ft. The 3 lockers were in buildings that were next to each other. The things they took out the lockers were delivered to my home 8 miles from the storage facility. Much of the time the 5 people were falling over each other or standing around waiting for someone to get out of the way. They did one locker at a time instead of spreading themselves out over the 3 lockers. They charged us for their lunch break of 45 minutes and they charged us for the time they spent filling out paperwork which could have been done on line prior to the move. They promised to arrived between 7 and 8am - they arrived at 10:15 am and they started the clocking running then, (although they spent 15 mins filling out the paperwork). During those 15 minutes the 4 other guys stood around instead of beginning to work. When they got to my house they did not begin unloading right away but the foreman asked for full payment of 9 hours (even though only 6 1/2 hours had passed at that time). The foreman said it would take 2 1/2 to unload so I had to pay for that time in advance. There were 2 trucks, a 26 footer and a smaller rented U-Haul truck to unload into my garage and into my ranch style home. The trucks were parked right by the garage door. No steps no long distances. They actually finished 45 minutes early but only gave me a 30 minute credit because they charged us for the extra 15 minutes they spent folding up their blankets in my driveway. They attempted to change us for 10 rolls of tape at $10 a roll. When I asked to see the empty spools the foreman said he could only find 8. He never bought those 8 for me to see, however. He also attempted to charge us for 3 full spools of shrink wrap at $40 a spool. When I asked to see these empty spools he said that he could only find 2 but never brought those empty spools to me either. Mind you, this furniture and other stored items were mostly shrink wrapped and blanketed already, as this was done when they went into storage. But they insisted on adding wrapping to some items, but certainly not 10 rolls of tape and 3 rolls of shrink wrap were used! When I called customer service the next day they promised to look into my concerns and call me back by the end of the business day. It has been 5 days and I havenâ t heard a word from them. I was only asking for 1 hours worth of credit but this has not been given. Donâ t trust them, donâ t us them.

When I received the call from MJC I was asked a couple of questions and then received a quote. My job was simply unloading and reloading a storage unit but there were a couple of qualifiers. It was very much the time and money I was quoted. Danny and AJ got right to work and completed what I needed them to do. They also took extra care with all of my antiques which had not been done the first time. JJSD

Really incredible service. Super quick, skilled, and considerate and for a very reasonable price-- lower than any other licensed local moving company I compared (very many). Talked to several people who work here in various roles, and all were very attentive, friendly, and thorough. Also they managed to work me in very last minute but were still very professional, not rushed but all went smoothly and while being super efficient. I really couldn't have had a better experience and can tell they genuinely put their customers' needs first and didn't just want to get it done with, but wanted to get it done right. They exceeded my expectations in every way. I would enthusiastically recommend them to anyone I know and will without doubt go to them for my next move. Definitely 5 stars.
