Last year, I was given a very specific dollar amount as our total bill for a fireplace cleaning. When the workers went to our rental unit, they overcharged the tenants. After numerous phone calls and emails to the company about the difference, I received no response. The owner called today to see if we'd like them to come for this year's cleaning. I told him about our experience last year and said no thanks - we never plan to use them again because of what I perceive to be their unfair practices. No apology, no offer to fix the sitation, etc. Instead, he said in a very heartfelt way, "Thank you, Jessica."

The person I spoke to on the phone (whose name I don't recall) was very personable and knowledgeable. She gave me an exact time the service person was due. Mark called to say he could come early and he did! He was respectful of my home, and fixed the fireplace after giving me options. All in all it was a fine experience and I will happily use them again if I have other fireplace problems.

Mark was great to work with. He was personable and explained how all the parts to the gas fireplace worked. His actual charge for the service was lower than the on phone estimate. No repairs needed. I'd just had my carpets cleaned and was concerned about the possible ash flying around, but he pulled it off without a smudge.

They were very helpful in explaining what was happening with our gas fireplace and the reason it was not lighting. It turns out that we did not have a problem at all so no repairs were needed.
