asked to have the fireplace cleaned due to smoke smell. after cleaning, smoke smell remained. i pulled off the glass doors and found fiberglass insulation and rest of door unit full of soot - that is where the smell came from. technician should have known that.

I had a gas fireplace and chimney inspection done for $75 which seemed very reasonable. The technician was prompt, courteous and thorough. I received detailed estimates for recommended work and and photos of issues found in inspection.

Team (2) arrived on time. They were efficient in setting up and provided a clean-sweep of the stack and fireplace. They were unable to inspect the top or exterior of the fireplace because of weather conditions. The job was done quickly and with the minimum of fuss. I would use this service again.

Cleaned and inspected fireplace and chimney as requested by my inspection resolution. Gave a good recommendation about the safety of our fireplace as well.

He was a little late but traffic will do that. I have a fireplace insert which was removed and replaced by two people who worked on it last year. He was by himself and could not budge it and therefore had to clean the chimney from the roof. I can only hope he succeeded. He noted several other concerns about the chimney and insert. I acted on one and elected to wait on the others.

Chimney cleaner/inspector was OK but said I needed to replace "Chamber Tech" between screen and front of fire box. Another call; another tech who did sloppy work…left cement on screen, glops of cement on floor of fire box and outside water not completely shut off.
