Very prompt response for estimate and the work was scheduled a week later. I had one large tree removed and some clean up and 2 smaller tree removed. The large tree also had the stump and roots ground out. I have had other tree work done and knew the estimate was fair. The only thing preventing 5 stars was that a portion of tree trunk was left sitting on grass too long and the grass died. Clean up was exceptional. I would definitely use this company again and recommend them to others.

The extimator didn't show up at the first scheduled appointment. When contacted later that day, the secretary said that all appontments for that day had been canceled and the customers notified due to a severe windstorm the day before that required all their personnel. Unfortunately, we had not been contacted. When the estimator didn't show up for the second appointment, the secretary said that he had called us the day before to confirm the appointment. When I finally was able to reach the estimater, he said that he had texted me previously. Unfortunately, he had me confused with his crain operator who has the same name. I explained that it was beter to call to confirm appointments, not text, to avoid such confusion. He was able to give me an estimate later that day, and it was reassuring to learn that they did contract work for Nationwide Insurance. In regard to the work itself: We have had extensive tree work done by an other company which has now been sold. We have used them for 40 years, and overall their work was excellent. ArborCare's work was acceptable. The removal of a mature hickory tree (the tallest in the nieghborhood) was done "old school" (climb up from the bottom removing limbs, take the trunk down from the top). Leaving more of the bigger limbs at the base would have reduced damage from the falling trunk sections. In addition, the Bobcat log hauler's tracks created ruts in the yard while hauling the larger trunk sections. Mats (which were not offered during during discussion of the estimate) would have prevented or minimized this. (3/4" plywood sheets were used by the previous company). The 5-man crew was knowledgable and polite, and the clean-up was excellent.

Our yard was overrun with bamboo that we needed cleared, and we needed several trees trimmed or removed. They showed up promptly in the morning, worked all day, and, despite a mechanical problem that required them to send for another truck, had the whole job done by sunset.

Crew done a very good job of cleaning up!
