One of my garage door springs had broken. Technician Paul didn’t have the correct size/length springs on his truck, so he had to return first thing the next day, but took an additional $50 off the bill for my trouble. I’m an engineer by trade and *very* handy with tools and repairs around the house and was wondering whether I could order parts online and replace the springs myself. How hard could it be? However, after seeing the details that Paul went thru in doing the replacement, I was *very* happy that I had hired someone with his experience. Paul was professional, well trained, and very personable and was very aware that my overall satisfaction is most-important, especially in these days of online reviews. I had talked with another company (from Home Adviser) and their business model was fixed minimum labor cost plus parts. And they even tried to plus-sell me other services over the phone BEFORE I EVEN HIRED THEM. No thanks. I much prefer how Service Garage Door does business. They never pushed any other services. Highly recommended.

Tony came to my home today and performed yearly maintenance on my garage door and components. He was professional and polite. Amazing and fair and honest pricing. Sears wanted to charge us 600 for just fixing the springs and cords to the garage, to align the door, and told us our motor was fine. Tony came and repalced the spring and cords charaged us much less, and told and showed us that the motor was bad. To help us save more money, he allowed us to buy the system from Lowes, and he only charge us the labor to put it in. In total we got a new system, springs, and cords for less than 600, and we did not need a new alignment. We are very blessed to have found this company because Sears would have charged us at least 1000.00 in the end. I will be telling my neighbors.
