This is an amazing small family business. They tried to repair our R/O filter system however it would not be repaired. They offered to replace it and worked with us to make it happen given the repair did not go well. Very professional, helpful, caring people from the scheduling to the repairmen. Thanks R&G!

Repair or Service a Well Pump

R & G is a Class "A" Number 1 company . Rick was straight forward and totally honest with us and really expedited the service so that it was as painless as possible. Also, this happened on a Sunday . I went to Home Adviser site and stated the problem and had a call from R&G literally within minutes. Rick actually walked me through the solution over the phone. Are you kidding me? Nobody does that these days. Rick and his wife are top professionals in the business. Both dedicated to customer service.

Repair or Service a Well Pump

After running my well water through a hose for 2 hours I had no water. Inside or outside. R & G sent 2 men who tested the amps for the pump and determined it was fine. They had no idea what was wrong and charged me $125 for 15 or 20 minutes of their time.They were courteous and pleasant, but I still have the problem. UPDATE: Pleased to have the owner visit our home and more thouroughly evaluate our problem. As a result, he did uncover 2 issues which I did correct and as far as I know, I am not continuing to have the problem I did initally.

Very friendly and approachable, both Rick and his wife. I am confident in the quality of work done, and feel I was given a very reasonable price. Our only disatisfaction was that they can a day late to complete follow up work, but this was due to an incorrect part being delivered. Overall very satisfied and we would highly recommend.

Criminal Background Check

Who does HomeAdvisor background check?

The owner or principal of each business in HomeAdvisor's network (with the exception of Corporate Accounts) must pass a background check. Unfortunately, we cannot perform a background check on every employee of a business—the background checks are performed only on the owner or principal. As always, we recommend that you conduct your own research on the businesses you hire, including making inquiries directly with the businesses regarding their employee background check policies.

What does the background check cover?

We use a third-party vendor to conduct a criminal records search in the county in which the business owner or principal works. Our third-party vendor uses a national criminal database ("NCD") to screen service professionals. Business owners or principals with felony arrests that carry a pending decision or who are convicted of felonies in the past 7 years ago will not be admitted to the network. Businesses or owners convicted misdemeanors or felonies, or who have dismissed charges or arrests on their records involving rape/incest, sex offenses, or lewd and lascivious behavior at any point in time will not be admitted to our network.

Our background check does not exclude service professionals unless the crime at issue is a felony.

*The comprehensiveness of the NCD varies by state. Please be aware that the reporting in the NCD is particularly limited in the following states: AL, CO, DE, GA, ID, IL, KS, LA, ME, MA, MI, MS, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM, SD, UT, VA, VT, and WY. After initial admission to the HomeAdvisor network, businesses are re-screened if a concern is reported to HomeAdvisor.

Corporate Accounts

Some businesses are employees, franchisees, dealers or independent contractors ("Corporate SP's") of larger national or "Corporate Accounts". When this is the case, we may match you with the Corporate Account or with one of their Corporate businesses. The above screening process does not apply to Corporate Accounts, as HomeAdvisor does not screen Corporate Accounts or Corporate businesses.

Sex Offender Search We confirm that the owner/principal is not listed on the official state Sex Offender web site in the state in which the owner/principal of the company is located. Bankruptcy Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the history of the principal/owner of the business for bankruptcy filings by or against them. Legal Search for Civil Judgments We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for state level civil legal judgments entered against them. Liens Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for liens placed against them. Identity Verification (SSN) HomeAdvisor verifies the social security number(s) of the owner/principal for identity check purposes. This check applies primarily to smaller business entities. Identity Verification (Reverse Phone Lookup) We conduct a reverse business phone lookup to identify records matching the phone number information provided by the business.
