"I recently purchased my first home. The day of closing I did a walk-through and had mud and water in my basement. The seller and seller's realtor assured me that water problem in my basement would be resolved in 30 days.. That never happened, In my opinion this was the house from hell. I called 4 companies for estimates, quotes, and a review of my basement. Before leaving John Ford from Basement Gurus last words were Paula, Basement Gurus has your back. John really meant what he said, in fact, John was the only person who called me back after reviewing the basement to find out if I had any questions or if he needed to explain anything to me from the estimate that he wrote up for me. John also gave me his direct phone number and told me to call him anytime. Meanwhile, none of the other companies called me, so for that reason alone I really appreciated that. When John told me do not worry Paula I got your back. He really meant that. I guess the saying is true, it is not what someone says to you But how they made you feel. THE Gurus kept their promise! "We would Highly Recommend A & C Plumbing.They did an extraordinary job and really went the extra mile for us. We had to replace our main service line. And they were able to come the day after the estimate to do the work, and get the proper permits, which was great since we didn't have any water. They spent the entire day getting a monster of a job done, in the scorching heat. There was a hand dug trench 3ft deep 6 ft across for the main service line, replaced the ancient galvanized main service line, and a whole new up to code system installed inside. So, they go to tie the house into the city line and there's a leak on the city side too. They called it in to DPW and finish their part, and we had water (we hadn't for over 2 days at that point). A & C gave us the DPW work order number and we all think it's going to get taken care of, right.....ð ¤ For the next 2 weeks DPW says they are investigating and to be patient. Then they tell us it's our fault and the leak is on our side, which we knew wasn't correct, and  contacted A & C. We called DPW, A& C called DPW, we emailed, and A &C emailed. We finally got an inspector to really investigate, then DPW came to fix it, twice, after first visit we had no water. Anthony came to the second DPW service call to talk to the crew, supervisor and inspector, to make sure everything was ok and to see if they had any questions for him, then he went to his other job site. When DPW tied the house back to the water main they had clogged the line (working in an open muddy pit) and told me to call the plumber. I called Anthony (A &C), informed him of everything going on. When he finished the job he was working he came back to the house, he cleared out the traps he just installed we Finally had Water! A & C Plumbing are a small local business that really stuck with us and helped us with a difficult time with the water company. Anthony came back when we really needed him to Personally talk with the DPW work crew, supervisors, and inspectors. Competitive rates, Quality work and a Warranty!"

"This was a great experience. I called to have fixtures in my bathroom and kitchen replaced. They came to my house within 30 minutes, gave me an estimate, offered to do the work right away, went to the hardware store to pick up parts I did not have and did a very thorough clean up when the work was finished. They made sure plumbing was brought up to code in my old house (built in 1905). They worked quietly and efficiently. The work was done a week ago and everything seems to be in working order. They were able to do the work without the mass destruction a number of other companies said would be necessary to my front yard and sidewalk.
