Very responsive. Good company to work with.
Very professional! Neat job, cleaned up afterwards!
The repairman was friendly and efficient
Quick quality service once they arrived. They were delayed getting to us because of another job. Would've liked better communication that they were running behind. They at least gave us a discount for the inconveniences.
I bought a home with a standup water heater that needed to be replaced. My wife and I did some bids and settled on a tankless water heater knowing it would be some pipe replacement and new exhaust routing out of our home. The installation went well and we were happy with the operation of our new tankless heater. We started smelling gas on and off and thought it could be some of the exhaust piping that was not sealed completely going outside from the new water heater. An electrician that did some work recently suggested we call Nicor. They came and found leaks in some old line but what was most unsettling was the brand new piping going into the tankless water heater. Two places!? The main going into the water heater you could twist with your hand we found out from the plumber we hired to fix the issues. I called RA Mechanical initially and was told that we were out of the year warranty so they could offer us 10% off in good faith. I could understand if it was old piping but not fixing a mistake like that on their own work made us angry. It was sloppy and careless. Installation was 9/20/21 and repair was June of 2023. We spent $4200 for all of it in case you are looking for a quote. Good luck with any assurance if you do hire them. I will not go down this road again.
Though some trouble developed during the install, they were very responsive and conscientious about following-up.
Professional, answered all questions and addressed all concerns thoroughly.
