One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning - Houston

The young man who did the A/C repair for me was very respectful, careful and professional. I am very pleased with the work performed. I'd recommend this young company to anybody who ask if I know anybody who does A/C repair.

This company came to my home on June 10th and replaced a fan motor on the AC/Heater unit. Cost was $999.99 or sign-up for service contract for 1 year at 15.99 per month and then the cost was reduced to $849.00. A little more overall, but service would be needed anyways. On June 22nd, my house was not cooling, so I called them back and they came out on the 23rd. The tech then tells me that my system is old and it all needs replaced. So why did the first tech not tell me that the system was old and needed replaced? Their excuse was that he was just trying to get my house cooled and help me out! They will not admit that the guy did not know what he was doing. In total, I spent over $1800 to find out that it all needed to be replaced. So, I let them send a salesman to my home, and give me a quote. The following is a copy and paste from their quote, -------------Investment Number Requested--------- HVAC Complete Single 14 - No duct corrections $11401 -$849 -$689 = $9854 Finance for as low as $124 / month with $0 down. Notice the $849 and $689 subtracted from the total cost? This is the money I had already spent that they were going to credit back to me. I believe they just jacked up the price and the subtracted to make it look like a great deal. I have another saleman with another company sitting with me right now. His quote is $7382, which I believe is reasonable. The One Hour salesman was not very knowledgeable about systems, this guy here right now has taken the time to thoroughly explain my options and gave me prices on three different ways to go. Beware of One Hour, they proved to me that they do not know what they are doing.

Company failed to give a lower rate to fix the repair they insisted on the expensive repair that would be more durable over the years but my home has some disfiguration pipes are noticeable

Was onsite 1 hour after I called for service.

Service person was very courteous and through in checking out the issue with the A/C. Gave me several options. Didn't try to force a decision.

They were on time, very professional, informative answers to my questions.
