Write a ReviewThey I stalled 5 support jacks under the center of the house. The jacks cost about $50.00 to. $100.00 each. And it took 2 men, 3 hours to install them. So for from 250.00 to 500.00 of materials and 6 hours labor they charged $4375.00.
ITG is deeply sorry to hear how this customer feels about their project with us. Our Smart Jack Supports are engineered and designed to be significantly stronger and longer lasting than any post jack available to consumers for retail. That being said, you can purchase thin wall support jacks with a third the lifting capacity at a hardware store. You can not buy the galvanized steel, Smart Jacks we offer with stainless steel fixtures and cast aluminum footings anywhere near that price. At I'm The Guy, we've chosen as a company to put quality over cost for the materials we've chosen to offer. We want to provide the best products and service available to our customers and unfortunately that quality comes at a greater price.
the job was done poorly. in my opinion. I felt pressured from day one. I wouldn't want anyone to go thru that.
I'm The Guy prides itself on trying to service each customer to their fullest satisfaction. We were unaware of any displeasure with the project or service this customer had during their installation experience prior to this review. We have reached out several times since this review posted to help remedy or rectify any issues with the customer and we are patiently waiting to hear back from them at this time.
We were very happy with the work provided. Scott was excellent explaining every thing and was available for us through the process if we had any questions. After the job was complete we had a question about one area and called. Jack, the owner, called us back and they corrected the item right away. Great customer service!
Very professional
Work was scheduled to begin on the 22nd they did not show until the 23rd. I had to call to find out they were not coming. They broke a lot of tiles that did not need to be broken. When paying it took 4 phone calls as they were having problems with their billing.
We do apologize for having to make four calls to the customer. Our credit card machine was down.
This would be a glowing review if the quality of their work was as good as their sales people. . I spent almost A LOT to have my basement waterproofed by this company by having a perimeter system installed and I have spent way too much time trying to get my concerns addressed. I am concerned that the holes that I was told were supposed to be drilled in every brick, were not drilled properly. I questioned it, and was assured that they would be, but they installed the tracking quicker than the guy drilling. Upon walk through, I noticed the wall by one of the sump pumps was wet, he told me it was a wet wall. That wall was never wet. I insisted they look at the new sump line they just installed, and yes, it was leaking! Now I'm concerned that the other line is also leaking, as the ground surrounding that line has been wet since Installation, which was over a month ago. They sent someone out to look at it, to clean up handprints that were left on the brick exterior wall of my home. They claimed they dug up the line and checked it while I was in the house for five minutes, but the ground was undisturbed and the grass I planted before they came out is growing there. I contacted the company again. They are in no rush to come out again. In addition, the salesman said they "smooth the concrete real nice," no, they don't! The clean up was not as I expected. I asked them to clean up better and they left the door open while they swept, causing dust to get into the first floor of my home. My advice, ask around for a local waterproofer. Don't let these people mess with your home. There are many that are more reasonably priced and do their work honestly. Don't make the same mistake I did. I am concerned about this system and I do not feel the company has addressed my concerns. They made a bigger mess than the one I was trying to fix.
I'm The Guy has worked to rectify all of the described issues with the project with the customer. At this point in time the customer has not had any warranty issues or concerns to date with the initial problem I'm The Guy was hired for.
on time good work very pleasant fast could not ask for any better
Good quality work
The person who fixed the foundation leak was very informative as to how he was going to fix the foundation.
Pleased with finished product, but it took a while to get there. First crew was a "demolition crew" instead of a qualified contractor. The waterproof system on the floor seems to be done correctly, but I won't know until we have a lot of rain. The work on the walls was completely amateurish and unacceptable. After five unanswered calls to the office, I finally got through. An inspector checked the job and agreed the walls needed to be completely redone. A month after the original job, the new crew came and did the work correctly. Very poor customer service. It took a month to get the job completed satisfactorily.
The customer was not pleased with the initial installation and I'm The Guy did rectify any quality issues our customer had with the installation to their satisfaction.
