Reviews
Write a ReviewThe salesman was great and we felt really good about choosing them. The work was done efficiently. Several things happened at the install that were troublesome and we wanted to discuss it with the company, but no one will return our calls. The attic fan that vents hot air from the attic was removed and thrown away, and several strips of the roof were left open as a new style of venting, much to our dismay. We were not asked if this would be OK. Tarps were laid by the side of the house and many stalks of flowers were destroyed. My dad grows these flowers to sell to local florists. He just wants an apology or acknowledgement of the problem. A lot of bent nails were found around the yard and driveway. These are all things that needed to be acknowledged by the company but no return call. We have given up, and we will not be suggesting them to our neighbors. Several have asked and gone with other installers after hearing our story.
I have two contrasting opinions of my Da Bella experience, through the salesman who sold us the project, of course to hear from him, this co, has no equal. By the signing of the contract, and what a lengthy contract it is, I came to realize, that Da doesn't want to be held liable for quite a number of situations that will come about in a job of this magnitude, such as the mess that will happen in your attic space and anything that would damage your home due to the contractor who delivers the materials. Call me old school, this leads me to my second opinion, after extensive work in the attic was necessary, leaving quite the mess, after talking to an off-site super visor, about the clean up, well, he stuck to his guns about his liabilities repeating to me how I had signed a waver concerning this matter. Now Jose and his brother Jerry, are different in this matter, I could tell them of my frustrations, and after a hand shake, and their word, on the matter, they not only attended to the matter of clean up, but shown to me how a mans WORD, and his INTEGRITY, are still the bedrock of any business. I think Da Bella's can learn from this two men of integrity, and not be so bound down in their legalities
I signed a contract to have them replace my roof and made a down payment, but the work was never done. I called three times during the six-weeks' window for the roof to be replaced and each time was told someone "would call by the end of the business day" and in each time no one ever called. No work was begun, much less finished. I am now out over $9,000 and have nothing to show for it. The salesman is a smooth talker and his promises and the contract sounded good; I looked forward to a new roof, but instead just got a disappointment. I would NOT recommend them to anyone.
As of 7/8/17, I have only recently hired this company, no work has started as of yet. This makes my review based on the initial meeting only. The initial meeting was/IS LONG. I can see the need for this as they are very thorough and want to make the most of the experience. Answering all and any questions seems to be paramount. Of course everyone wants to make the sale, but Mike and Matt were very knowledgeable. They wanted to make sure I had every concern addressed. I'm looking forward to having a great experience with DaBella.
DaBella siding is an exceptional product, I recently purchased vinyl siding . My home looks outstanding and my neighbors continue to compliment the look. The DaBella representative Ian Wheeler made the experience so easy and with no pressure. He is very well versed in all of DaBella products. Everyone I worked with through the process of ordering to the installation were outstanding ! Thank you Ian Wheeler, Mike Goettsch and the fantastic installers Dave Cox and Sterling !
The initial sales appointment was LONG and my bathtub seemed expensive, however I am very pleased with the product.
We have only signed on with Dabella and have not yet begun the project, making it very difficult to rate the quality and customer service. Matt and Sierra Marshall were very thorough in their description of their product, their commitment to service and quality and their love and belief in this company. Sierra worked with us to find a product that would satisfy and work within our budget while stilll maintaining the quality that was important to us. The only down side to this process was the amount of time involved from presenting, to sign on being almost 5 hours. We feel very excited about getting our new roof and look forward to an additional review after the work is completed to report on the customer service and quality we received.
I'm currently having DaBella's side the house with James Hardie (Hardie plank) siding and windows. Josh was very professional and was very patient for all of our questions pertaining to the project. When another contractor gave us a bid for the garage in primed Hardie, Josh was able to offer us the upgraded color plus for less than the other contractors primed and painted. Having available financing was a great plus. I read the other reviews and having the husband and wife available was for the whole process from start to finish of having the project done. If your wanting just a bid, have others give you a bid and then call DaBella's for a quote. Be ready to sign if your serious about doing a project. So the project is not complete yet, but I'm feeling pretty good about the whole process. The only bad thing that if you decide to wait till later then when the salesperson arrives, the percentage of discounts will be less. I understand the concept and accept the idea. Do your homework and call them after getting other bids to take advantage of the offers they offer, I did. I'll follow up when the job is complete.
