Reviews
Write a ReviewI would give them 10 stars if that was an option.
Very friendly and customer oriented. We received a quick response for the AC unit diagnosis. Bobby stopped by and checked to make sure that everything went well and we're happy couple days later after the unite installed. It's helpful with 1 year maintenance came with the installed unit. The crew is very professional. Thank you for your services.
Crabtree came out to fix my air conditioner. They told me that there were leaks in the system, and that it would cost several thousand dollars to repair or replace the parts, but they could seal it and fill it with fluids, and it would work, just no guarantees. The tech even told me that he had done this repair to his own unit, and it had held up for years. This fix cost nearly $1,000, and I had to sign a ream of paperwork stating that it was not guaranteed. Ten days later, the air conditioner was again not working. Yes, I understand that the work was not guaranteed, but it did not even last 10 days? I called Crabtree again, and this time, Bobby Jr. came out (with no mask), showed me some video on his phone that showed a part spewing fluid, and said that we would need new coils ($3,131) or a new unit ($6,600). So, thinking we had probably get the new unit, I came back to another, similar review and contracting website to this one, to get bids for that. That is when I found my new favorite HVAC tech. When he saw the Crabtree stickers all over my unit, he started shaking his head. He also did something that Crabtree never did, which was to call Trane and find out that the unit was still under warranty. After doing the diagnostics, he found out that there was nothing wrong with the coils, and that a completely different part needed service, which he quickly completed for $670, with no need to enter my home and no need to have me sign a ream of disclaimers. He also wore a mask.
Never told this customer that we would seal and fill the system. Explained we could add a leak stop injection to try to seal the leak and add refrigerant with no guarantees or warranties. **Ream of paperwork** was an invoice for the work done, a warranty release, and a satisfaction survey (which was filled with positive feedback). When Bobby Jr. came out he never entered the home without a mask, and the video shown was of her evaporator coil spraying refrigerant into the air stream. We returned back on the 9th of June at no charge and performed an electronic leak test on condenser and evaporator coils, and found a leak in both coils. (did not...)
Job finish quickly. Thumbs up
The service tech showed me all the defective issures with my unite. He took time to explain it in real terms that I could understand. They made sure everything wass working in good order before leaving the job.
Very professional and quick to respond when I reached out to them. Had my a/c fixed same day and I am very happy with there work.
Great experience. Multiple problems with my AC unit. They came out two days and only charged me for the first visit. Great communication and amazing work. My AC is now working great!
Bobby and C.J. are very knowledgable and friendly
Family owned business. Quick response to my HVAC needs. Technician explained everything they were checking a doing. I am very pleased.
