Let's be honest, chimney sweeping is a glorified way to say vacuuming. Made an appointment several weeks in advance and was given a work window on a particular day. Alpine Chimney Sweeps did not confirm the appointment and actually showed up early, when I wasn't there. After arrival, 3 flues were cleaned at $79 a pop in about 45 minutes for about $250 total. Wow! If I agreed to all the "suggested" work, I would have been out another $3,000+. My recommendation: get a shop vac and do it yourself.

I am sorry you feel that way, our customers call us in the morn. for a smaller time frame, also this is our first complaint of being early usually people complain about being late. We had 3 men on the job & the chimney's were cleaned simultaneously and efficiently. We also offered D.I.Y ideas so that he did not have to spend the money on items that were suggested. We are not pushy and do not force homeowners to purchase. We are not out to spend their money. We are a family owned and operated business and we like to keep the integrity of the company as such. Joe did a very thorough cleaning job and pointed out several areas of concern with my current chimney. He was able to provide solutions right there and offered a very reasonable price. The work as completed in less than one day. Joe cleaned up everything once he completed the job. I would recommend his team to anyone looking to resolve any chimney related matter. In fact, we will be using Joe in the spring to "re-point" the brick work on our chimney.
