They called me right after I requested the quote (about 3 minutes after) which was fantastic. They were available right away and on time. They were extremely professional and charged exactly what was quoted over the phone. They also explained additional work that was needed, but were in no way pushy and I thought their quoted price for the additional work was extremely fair. I would recommend them to anyone.

Contractor advised us the damper on top of chimney was broken and no longer could be used. This is false I had checked with a store that specializes in these things. He also quoted us $500 for a job that would take 15 minutes.

Extremely unhappy and misled with the service. Alpine technician was unable to do the initial job that was proposed. They left the chimney connected to the furnace exposed, did not clean the chimney, the job went from $2200 to $4200 and then $3800. I paid $500 for no work, which required me to have other Chimney companies to give an approproiate estimates. All 3 companies were much lower and questioned the work that was done by Alpine- basically, I was told that I was ripped off $500 b/c no work was done. I had a company that did the whole job for $800 and fix their mess. Will NEVER recommend Alpine to any person. I feel I was taken advantage of!

I am very sorry that you are upset. We did asses the situation and remove a lot of blockages and debris. We gave the homeowners 2 options, 1 being an internal solution and 1 being an external solution. We did not want to have the homeowner to incur any extra expense so we cleaned and removed the blockages that where in the way the day of the appointment. I understand that other companies would like to bad mouth their competition but we are not in business to do that. I wish you all the best.

Well as far as I know nothing about how to clean a chimney, what it really details, they shoved a broom UP my chimney,and brushed up and down, vaccumed up the mess, went down stairs and did the same to the furnace pipes, sugested I get a new flew (see I can't spell that) just one that is more energy efficient, and think about sealing the bricks in the chimney since the house is OLD. The guys were very nice and kept the dirt contained, OH and most important, my time slot was between 9-1 and I guess I lucked out they were here at 9 and gone about 40 min later,

He came quickly, on time. He did an OK job, selling me chimney caps I probably did not need. He did not do a very thorough job of cleaning a flue.
