Basement Gurus was comparable in both value and price to the others but we ultimately chose BG because of the salesman, Philip, who made us feel safe and taken care of like family. He walked us through everything so we knew exactly what to expect. The staff that showed up were so kind. They did a great job and kept us informed throughout the process. They had an opening a week sooner than our scheduled date so was able to complete the project sooner than expected. They cleaned up everything afterwards so you couldn't even tell that concrete was hauled out and all the work that was put in. There have been several heavy rainfalls since the install and our basement is completely dry. Calling BG was the best decision."

"We found the Alliance Service Pros only recently. We liked them very much and do not hesitate to recommend their service for others. Here are our reasons why: Everyone we have come in contact with from this company has great attitude, mannerism and most of all, prompt service, quality work, filing permit and close follow-up with the town, customer orientation/service, etc. Our township plumbing inspector is also aware of the quality of their work and the inspection went like a breeze. We used their services initially for new toilet, bidet seats, water heater and also for a natural gas barbecue grill. The latter two required our townshipĂ¢ s permit and inspection. Two other companies which gave estimates didnĂ¢ t care to know what the BTU values of the grill I ordered even after the home visit and sent an estimate saying they could take the line from the fireplace! The grill size required a dedicated line from the meter. After the master plumber Keith Owens' visit to our home for a detailed scope of work, the office manager Amy and the service manager Jake prepared the estimate (decently priced after a slight negotiation) very quickly. They also use a smart text system to inform the ETA of Keith and the crew. Of course, we can call or email the office too. The office manager Amy knows the process very well. Amy was very sweet and polite during all our contacts, and she returned our calls very promptly. The service manager Jake was also easily accessible. The Journeyman Aaron, and other technicians Robert and Trevor were all knowledgeable, worked hard without taking a break and were polite and followed our request to wear a mask all the time when they were inside the home. We can tell that everyone has been with the company for a while and is happy to continue working in this company. We are very satisfied with their work and will definitely use their services in the future."

"I'm not a review writing person, but I will make an exception here. First of all, the salesperson, Steve was awesome. He explained everything to the detail. It also helps that First choice offers two year no interest financing. The work crew came in on Monday morning, twenty minutes before they said they would. I have a big basement, it took them two days from start to finish. When they were done, one of the guys gave me a walk around explaining everything. Boy, my basement never looked so clean and good. They were very professional, quick and left the basement immaculate. Highly appreciated. And here's the thing, the very next Sunday thru Monday, we had a rain storm and my basement was dry as a bone. I could actually see the water as it was coming out of the pipe outside my house from the sump pump. It's been predicted that this Sunday - Monday we're gonna have a worse rainstorm than last week. I can't wait Overall, I would give this company a plus ten !"

"Excellent company, schedule staff, and technicians! Highly recommend! Working with A. M. Botte via text, we arranged a good time of day for the tech to arrive. As it turned out, they were able to arrive early and they called to see if that would work for me. It did, and Melvin 'Mel' arrived about 30 minutes ahead of the original window. ?? Mel introduced himself and donned his cloth booties so he didn't track any dirt into my home. He then inquired about, examined, and diagnosed the issue, went over the options and we agreed on the cost. He was super friendly, knowledgeable, and really informative! During the inspection, he showed me several helpful homeowner tips as we passed various parts of my plumbing system. He prepped the work areas to protect my wood floors and went back to the truck for the required tools (taking off and replacing the cloth booties). ? He went to work on the clog and in just a few attempts with the power snake located and cleared the clog. We took photos of the culprit (a large, long hair ball - ?). I am pretty much bald, so I felt vindicated that it wasn't *my* hair! ? After checking at the cleanout that all the impacted drains were clear, Mel reseated the toilet, set his equipment on the tarp in the hallway, and wiped down the walls (even though the marks were from *my* attempts to fix the clog earlier in the week). ? Once his tools were loaded on the truck, Mel took a 'completion' photo of the powder room where the snake work was done and the outside cleanout where we checked the drains. I wrote a check, signed the electronic 'paperwork', and Mel wished me a great weekend - - which it will be now that I don't have to spend it trying to clear a drain clog that obviously required a pro! I called A. M. Botte to commend their company and Melvin in particular. I will definitely call them again when I need a plumbing professional in the future!"
