The 2 young men that came to install my new walk in shower were incredibly professional. Dylan and DJ, didnâ t stop for even a break, they were very hard workers and were considerate of me and my home. They completely cleaned up after themselves.

Today we had West Shore Home, Myrtle Beach SC remove our old tub/shower unit and install a walk-in shower. We are extremely pleased with our new West Shore Home shower. It looks beautiful. The West Shore Home team were amazing from the sales team to the installers. Everything was perfect. The installers today were great, polite and did an awesome job installing the new shower and cleaning up afterwards. I highly recommend West Shore Home. Everything was just like they show on their commercials. Fast and easy with a beautiful product.

Remodel a Bathroom

The team that installed our new shower (Dylan P and T.J.) were fantastic. They were right on time the day of our install. They were courteous and reviewed the project before starting and reviewed the project once completed. Dylan and T.J kept the job site clean and left it clean when the job was complete. It truly took them one day to completely change our bathroom. Hats off to Dylan, T.J., and West Shore Home!

Design a Bathroom

Our installers, chris p and chris b, were punctual, courteous, and hard working. We were pleasantly surprised at how smoothly this job went from initial sales visit, (david king was fantastic, no pressure, friendly, and knowledgeable kinda guy) to punctual 8am arrival of chris p and chris b. We thought it would take two days to complete this project but they got it done in one. Built a new shower in new area, ripped out the old one from another, and cleaned up everything. Highly recommend!

We're committed to maintaining a network of trusted home service businesses, and those who don't meet our criteria will be rejected or promptly removed from our network.

Criminal Background Check

Who does HomeAdvisor background check?

The owner or principal of each business in HomeAdvisor's network (with the exception of Corporate Accounts) must pass a background check. Unfortunately, we cannot perform a background check on every employee of a business—the background checks are performed only on the owner or principal. As always, we recommend that you conduct your own research on the businesses you hire, including making inquiries directly with the businesses regarding their employee background check policies.

What does the background check cover?

We use a third-party vendor to conduct a criminal records search in the county in which the business owner or principal works. Our third-party vendor uses a national criminal database ("NCD") to screen service professionals. Business owners or principals with felony arrests that carry a pending decision or who are convicted of felonies in the past 7 years ago will not be admitted to the network. Businesses or owners convicted misdemeanors or felonies, or who have dismissed charges or arrests on their records involving rape/incest, sex offenses, or lewd and lascivious behavior at any point in time will not be admitted to our network.

Our background check does not exclude service professionals unless the crime at issue is a felony.

*The comprehensiveness of the NCD varies by state. Please be aware that the reporting in the NCD is particularly limited in the following states: AL, CO, DE, GA, ID, IL, KS, LA, ME, MA, MI, MS, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM, SD, UT, VA, VT, and WY. After initial admission to the HomeAdvisor network, businesses are re-screened if a concern is reported to HomeAdvisor.

Corporate Accounts

Some businesses are employees, franchisees, dealers or independent contractors ("Corporate SP's") of larger national or "Corporate Accounts". When this is the case, we may match you with the Corporate Account or with one of their Corporate businesses. The above screening process does not apply to Corporate Accounts, as HomeAdvisor does not screen Corporate Accounts or Corporate businesses.

Verify Trade License HomeAdvisor checks to see if the business carries the appropriate state-level license. Verify Insurance As a part of our screening process, we encourage professionals to carry general liability insurance. We require coverage for hundreds of services. Verification of State Business Filings For business types that require a Secretary of State filing, we confirm that the business is in good standing in the state in which it is located. Criminal Records Search HomeAdvisor uses 3rd party data sources to conduct a criminal search for any relevant criminal activity associated with the owner/principal of the business. Sex Offender Search We confirm that the owner/principal is not listed on the official state Sex Offender web site in the state in which the owner/principal of the company is located. Bankruptcy Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the history of the principal/owner of the business for bankruptcy filings by or against them. Legal Search for Civil Judgments We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for state level civil legal judgments entered against them. Liens Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for liens placed against them. Identity Verification (SSN) HomeAdvisor verifies the social security number(s) of the owner/principal for identity check purposes. This check applies primarily to smaller business entities. Identity Verification (Reverse Phone Lookup) We conduct a reverse business phone lookup to identify records matching the phone number information provided by the business.
