Reviews
Write a ReviewFast crew that does quality work. I was in contact with Clayton there and he knows how to run the show.
EXCELLENT!!!! The Best of the BEST! Wabash just refinished my hardwood floors and they look like a brand new hardwood floor was installed. Wabash removed the baseboards and doors to ensure a professional job. I had two other quotes and nobody else does this, they just go around the doors and baseboards. The second quote came in$1,500.00 more and the third came in twice the price. If you are using someone else, in my opinion you are making a mistake. I can't say enough good things about Wasbash Restoration other than they are the best in town.
I m extremely satisfied with the service and final product provided to me by Wabash Restoration. I hired them to refinish older hardwood floors at a home I just purchased. Clayton and his entire crew were extremely professional and knowledgeable throughout the entire process. Wabash Restoration had the most experience out of the several companies I had quote this project and they are surprisingly the most reasonable when it came to pricing. It seemed like a no brainer decision that proved out to be correct. This team was extremely professional, kind and cared to hear my opinion, efficient and quick, accurate and produced the high-quality end result they started they would. I would highly recommend this company to anyone wanting their floors refinished.
I could not be happier with the quality of work and customer service we received from Clayton and his crew. Our floors look absolutely beautiful. They went above and beyond to get them finished before we moved in to our new house. They are also affordable which is really surprising considering the end product. I highly recommend hiring them.
They did a great job on our floor and plan on using them for additional jobs. Thank you!
We had Wabash refinish our hardwood and the floors actually came out looking amazing. There was a little small mess left after the project was complete on the outside of the house on our porch, but not only did I find that to be expected, they are sending out someone to re-clean it anyway. The only issue I encountered was that after the tape was pulled from the trim by the flooring where the wood was refinished, there was a lot of paint that peeled off of the baseboards and quarter-round that now needs to be repainted. When I asked about this, it was correctly pointed out that Wabash is not liable for any paint peeling as per the contract we signed. So when I signed the contract, I read that as the type of thing that protects the company but is not likely to happen. Additionally, the response I received from them was very matter of fact that there was no liability without much in the way of apology or even trying to make me feel a little better about the situation. Ultimately, if you use them for refinishing, just be aware your trim by the floors might indeed need repainting or new quarter-round after they've completed their work.
When weÂ’re Staining and Coating with Polly Urethane we tape off the areas weÂ’re working to protect the customers property. At no time was any of the Quarter round damaged. We do acknowledge there was paint that stuck to the tape when we pulled tape for clean up. The paint was already compromised due to bad surface prepping over many years. You could actually flake the paint off with your finger before we ever started any work on the job. We have consulted with Professional Paint Companies in the past and Paint Flaking happens more with older homes because it has so many layers of paint, and no prep was done This particular house was around 60-70 years old. This issue is directly stated in our contract so our customers are informed that this can happen.
We had Wabash refinish two rooms of red oak flooring from a natural golden color to a darker English Chestnut. The results were beautiful. The crew was very polite, respectful, and knowledgeable. They removed all of the baseboards and put them back on and caulked them afterward - they also look better than before. We will be having them back to do more of our floors in the future!
Refinished maple wood floors to a natural color and they are beautiful. Very little dust and they were on time and helpful with all our questions! Highly satisfied
Clayton and his team were great. Some back and forth with details to reclarify but they did a nice job. Plan on staying out of your house while they work. Being able to open windows to air the house after they are gone is helpful...choose the right time of year for sure. 1 thing not mentioned is that you have to wait 30 days after the floors are done to "cure" so no area rugs can be put down. A bummer as we have the 2 main areas with rugs to be laid and now have to wait another month to get furniture out of storage :( But overall, the floors are lovely and Clayton and his team did a fine job!
