On time excellent service.
Work was scheduled and completed in a timely manner.
Mr. Sparky responded quickly to my request for home electrical repair. Jamiel was the service provider and he did an excellent job with multiple projects. I would certainly recommend this company for home repair services.
Put in a request overnight for an electrician to remove & install chandelier. Next day electrician was available & came. Price was a bit high, but technician did a good job in less than 2 hrs.
Pricy but work was quality
I hired Mr Sparky to fix 2 outlets that were not working and stabilize another that was loose. He convinced me that 3 other outlets needed to be replaced as they were all connected and quoted over $1000. Believing that there was a shorts that had caused the original outlet to have stopped working, I naively accepted the quote. As I watched him remove the outlets and replace with new boxes I did not see what I envisioned- there was no loose or burnt wire; everything seemed intact. When I asked he repeated that they needed to be replaced. At that point I felt like I was paying to learn. Mr Sparky clearly played on my ignorance and changed the outlets unnecessarily. I think the company is DISHONEST and would never do business with them again.
Great overall experience. Once I hit submit I started getting calls. I went with Mr.Sparky . They were on time, professional and removed the old fan. Finished in an hour. Easy peazy
My tech was very helpful and made recommendations that fit my needs.
I wanted 3 light bulbs replaced along with a carport spotlight and the bath light repaired. I felt it was going to be a problem when the Mr. Sparky receptionist started asking about replacing the breaker box. When David arrived I showed him the work I wanted done and the fixture which sparked and tripped the breaker when the switch flipped. He started in about the squirrels etc. Advised I had a new breaker box and GA Power had replaced the lines that the squirrel chewed. He gave me a $1000 estimate to replace the light fixtures I wanted him to put the bulbs in. To replace the spot light was $198. It was $279 to fix the bath bar. I authorized the bath. David took off the bar fixture first and apparently did not find what he was looking for, as he repeated to me the info re: switch. I told him to try it. He came out and told me it flipped the breaker. He was having trouble re-hanging the bath fixture because the 4 glass globes are heavy and he did not unscrew them first. He comes out of the bath and says he needs to get supplies from the store. He comes back with a bar fixture with 4 specialty bulbs like professional make up lights and installs it. I asked if my unit was burnt out and he said yes. He never said he replaced the switch, I figured it out when I flipped it because it is stiff and doesn't fit the face plate the same. Never said the unit was burned before he left and never asked me what I wanted to be installed. As he was leaving, I went out and asked for the globes because I have another fixture that uses them. He said it was in the trash. I picked the 2 parts out of the trash. No burned wires, no signs of electrical burns everything is ok. I felt violated that someone would come into my house and just change fixtures and not do what I needed done. It has taken me nearly a week of stress, crying and anger to find peace. I refused to write this review in anger. I am almost 69 and am doing this review so that no one else has this experience. I have been replacing and moving items so I don't have to get on a ladder. Now I have to get on the ladder to do the work I wanted done and hire an electrician to re-install my bathroom light bar. I have used Mr. Sparky before at my home and at a business. They have always been expensive but the work has always been done right. Mr. Sparky is no longer welcome in my house.
