Mr. Sparky was excellent all around once I was able to reach THEM DIRECTLY. The Home Advisor communication and follow-through was terrible. HA staff never called me back about delays. In fact each time I called, they had inaccurate or no information about the arrival time of the tech. I literally wasted an entire day waiting around for a technician who never showed. The problem got resolved the next day when I contacted Mr. Sparky directly. The dispatcher, Karen, was absolutely on top of her game and kept me totally up-to-date. I think the problem is too many people involved in the process, which starts with me. If I have a question, I call the phone number HA provides, which is HA customer service. HA customer service calls the dispatcher at the service company who then contacts the service tech. I think you need to eliminate the HA person once the service company is known, From that point on, it needs to be direct communication back and forth between CUSTOMER and SERVICE COMPANY.
My circuit breaker box blew an 80 amp circuit and blew the main breaker outside. Mr. Sparky came and replaced both circuit breaker boxes, one main breaker to the house and re-ran the line from the main breaker to the circuit breaker box, correcting an incorrectly installed line. They made sure that everything they did was up to code and guaranteed the work for 30 years. They had to replace all my GIFI outlets and add additional hard wired smoke detectors. It was not an inexpensive job, but I feel secure that they did a great job and were careful and explained everything to me as they went. I would hire them again.
They promote safety and told me up front what they had to do and how much it would cost.
