Dependable and courteous

They did a good job and completed the project ahead of schedule.

My project was started on April 12, 2018 and I do not consider it finished yet. The first crew walked off the job and left an 18 in by 6 ft opening to the outdoors element. The project manager came out and nailed some pressed wood that had nail holes so it was very hard to keep the house warm. When a new crew came to work on the job, Will was the lead on that crew and he was great to work with. The Project Manager, Don Edwards, was only interested in "slapping" trim work around the new window and sliding glass door I was having installed, along with 3 other windows. Don Edwards was going to patch the sheet rock that had been ripped out by the first crew and then Don himself came and cut the sheet rock leading me to believe the work would look professional. I understand Don is no longer with Midwest Home Improvement and a new Project Manager, Troy, was assigned to my project. Unfortunately, Troy was hospitalized. I was contacted by Jarod Blade with Midtown on May 15, 2018 to set a time for Will to come and do the final sanding on the tape and mud work done by Don. I explained to Jarod during that call that I thought more mud and sanding would be required. Will came out the next day and sanded. Tosha Larsen with Midtown contacted me on May 18, 2018 to let me know that the work was completed and reported that it looked beautiful and when could we get together for me to pay the balance of the project. I asked Tosha if I could have a walk through before I finalized anything with Midtown. Tosha said absolutely and asked what time worked best. I told her I could be available Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday early morning or late afternoon. As of today, I have not heard back from Midtown. From the start of the work on my project it was evident Midtown is a window company and NOT a home improvement company.

Very honest and good service ?

The quality is good and the work was done quickly once we got an install date. I didn't really shop around, other than to check out the prices at Home Depot and Lowe's on doors and installation. I think we could have probably gotten it done cheaper, but it would have been a cheaper product. Of course, I'm sure everyone would like to have projects done for less than they cost. I can definitely tell a difference between our old, builder grade door and the door we got from Midtown. Nice job!
