Reviews
Write a ReviewInstaller worked very hard, was very pleasant and did excellent work.
Installers were on time and very polite. No trash was left, they cleaned up and demonstrated how windows worked before leaving.

Good.
The crew arrived on time and proceeded in a professional way. Their work was flawless!
Excellent.
I rated them 2 stars only for the installers who did the best they could with what they had. If you are looking at Hansons you have a 50/50 chance of being treated like a crook and a 100 of being overcharged for the product installed. I know people that have used them that were happy; then again these people did not have any problems with the installation. I, however, was not so lucky. The installers showed up needing to do a build up on my window: they did not have the proper materials to do the job so ended up using our supplies as we were under construction. Then after the window was installed it was obvious is was defective. The sashes did not fit the frame and there was a noticeable gap where you could see daylight. I also had a door wall installed which I was told would have 3 locks; it came with 1. When I explained everything to the customer service voice she told me it was normal to have play in a window (funny, every other window person I speak to says you want a tight seal) and they dont make door walls with 3 locks any more, oops they made a mistake. Needless to say it took them 4 weeks to have someone show up at my door to assess the problem (they were not even ready to fix it at this point). They sent the installers back out with siding (forgot to mention they did not have siding either on the first run) but no new sashes. There was confusion as to who was supposed to do what to get the problem fixed and at that point we just wanted out and asked for our money back on the window; we were willing to pay a reasonable price for the door wall even though it wasnt what was expected and the treatment we were receiving at the hands of the company was stressing us out to no end. When my husband talked to the Lansing Supervisor he was treated rudely and with disrespect like he was a problem; even the installer who was standing there during the conversation said he could not believe how rude this guy was toward my husband. We tried calling Brian Elias, who apparently, according to the voices we spoke to in the home office, everyone can call. We ended up dealing with the VP even though we left a message for Mr. Elias, because apparently he shares a line with the VP who runs interference on customer complaints (not as accessible as they put out there). When we told him we asked for someone to put in writing what they were offering to do he said they only put in writing what they are legally obligated to put in writing. In the end it took him over a week to get back with us after our initial conversation and then he threatened to put a lien on our house if we did not accept his offer. In the end we ended up paying 2200+ for a door wall and installation that was worth half that. We have since had Lowes install a Pella 350 window in place of the defective Hansons window. We paid a fraction of the price and the sticker on the Pella 350 showed a better energy efficient window than the Hansons. Not to mention Lowes was willing to p
