The technician attempted to rip us off by telling my father that the Heat Pump was leaking and losing pressure. The estimate that they gave was $7846. I called a trusted friend who had me call Code Mechanical and they determined that the real problem was a $38 relay switch on the air handler. Also, there pressure was full on the refrigerant lines so STEER CLEAR or Dick's Heating.

Dicks has a practice of trying to get you to buy more than what is needed. They have trained there technicians to up-sale on every call. I will never recommend or use Dicks Heating and AC.

This was just a yearly maint. call. The technician was on time, friendly, and knowledgeable. He even suggested a routine plan that would save me money.

The technician came on time, was very professional. He did a great job cleaning all our ductwork and vents. He spent a couple of hours looking over our whole system and troubleshooting some ductwork deficiencies. He will be back to fix our gas fireplace and service our furnace.

They were able to come out the same day that the AC Stopped working which was great. They fixed on site and had us backup and running. Very knowledgeable tech. Would use them again.

Recommended a furnace we did not need. Required maintenance did not identify problem 2 months before a major repair bill (1,800) dollars. Generally even though maintenance is required repair bills are not covered under maintenance or warranty agreement.
