Coastal Pools transformed our backyard into the oasis we were hoping for. Randy is a very hands on professional. He checked frequently on how the resurfacing of the pool and the installation of the pavers was going. Any time we had a question Randy was available by phone or in person. The job was completed in a very timely fashion and the work is excellent.

Horrible material used on the deck around the pool was rejected for sure. Not even level to the eye. While it was being installed, tried to let the owner know but he said to wait till the job was done before anything could be done. When we finally saw him at the end of the job he just shrugged it off. The resurfacing of the pool was so so, the coloring on the bottom of the pool had too many color distortions to look great. Way too many other things to tell about this job, but just wanted to warn anyone who was thinking about them.

Randy Thomas (the owner) is top-notch when it comes to communication and follow-up, and provides an "out-the-door/no surprises" quote. To us this was very important since all the other pool contractors left the door open to pad the costs of what we wanted done. From my inquiry on Homeadvisor, Randy was at our home the next day to provide us with our quote and view many samples he had with him. We knew what we wanted, selected it, and he wrote up the quote and presented it to us along with his contractor license info, insurance info, contact info, and the quote. No other contractor we had called for quotes did this. The construction crew were professional and considerate. More importantly, they showed up on-time and worked very hard all day long. They completed my entire pool renovation and paver install in just a week's time-and it's gorgeous! Randy made sure to text us every day on the expectations for that day. He came by many times to check on the progress and coordinate the timing of things. Contractors I have worked with do not normally do this, which sets Coastal Pool Service apart from the competition. We are not ones to write lengthy reviews like this but given our experience of trying to get pool contractors to communicate with us since July and then Coastal Pool Service and Randy Thomas gets it done from inquiry to finished lanai and pool renovation in just a few weeks, we felt we had to share our very positive experience with them. After 15 years our pool required to be resurfaced. I dreaded the thought of getting quotes and going through the process to completion. Our past experience dealing with contractors had been mixed. Well, Coastal Pool Service was fantastic. Randy and his team were exceptional. They are polite and professional. Randy gave me a schedule and stuck to it.
